Always Up! slot released – features, RTP & free play demo

BGaming has officially released the Always Up! slot, a Chinese-mythology-themed slot with a crash-style bonus game that adds something a little different to the 3-reel slot mechanics. And it's available to play now at the best UK online casinos.

The game has a low to medium volatility, so wins should be fairly consistent, but the new BGaming slot suffers a little with a below-average 95.07% RTP and 599x maximum multiplier. It will suit players who enjoy a classic 3-reel design but want some additional excitement, as well as those who appreciate the Chinese mythology theme.

About Always Up!

Always Up! Has an obvious Chinese mythology theme. Specifically, it concentrates on the concept of luck and how it is portrayed in Chinese culture. The 3x3 play grid is housed inside a traditional ting, or open-sided pavilion, and symbols include fireworks, lucky coins, and lotus flowers.

The game has five fixed paylines, although the bonus round is triggered by landing scatter symbols anywhere on the reels.

Other than the bonus round, there are no other in-game features to speak of, which makes it the perfect game for lovers of basic slots, while its combination of slot with crash-game mechanics could herald more cross-genre mechanics from BGaming.

Key features

  • Reels: 3x3
  • Paylines: 5
  • RTP: 95.07%
  • Volatility: Low-Medium

Scatter Symbols

The game has five fixed paylines, so players don’t have to keep their eyes on thousands of potential winning opportunities. But the title’s bonus game is triggered by landing three bonus scatter symbols anywhere on the grid. Landing one or two bonus symbols may also randomly trigger the bonus game.

Bonus Game

When the bonus game triggers, the player is invited to one of five rockets. All five then launch into the sky, each with its own multiplier which increases as the rockets rise higher. When the player’s chosen firework explodes, they receive the multiplier that was displayed when the firework went off. It’s similar to a crash game in that it builds momentum, but the player has no control over when or whether to cash in.
