Pragmatic Play revs up its virtual sports offerings with new Superbike Racing title
iGaming giant, Pragmatic Play, has unveiled the latest addition to its growing virtual sports portfolio – Superbike Racing. The game uses random number generators to determine results and offers a good variety of betting markets, enabling players to bet on races even during the off-season and times when there are no races.
Super Bike Racing joins Pragmatic Play’s expanding list of similar games, which already includes greyhound and horse racing games, as well as the popular Penalty Shootout Live! game.
Pragmatic Play’s Chief Operating Officer said of the new release: “With in-play betting, a range of side bets and a new race every two minutes, Super Bike Racing is a thrilling addition to our virtual sports portfolio.”

Super Bike Racing will see 20 bikers from 10 teams participate in a variety of races. Players can bet on race winners as well as podium finishes. Other markets include the lap 1 leader and a variety of side bets to match the growing list of markets available on real-world Superbike Championships.
Pragmatic Play was founded in 2015 and gained a Malta gaming licence in 2016 before gaining UKGC accreditation a year later, in 2017. It has gone on to expand globally, offering an expanding list of slots, digital table games, live casino titles, and virtual sports betting games.
Having launched live casino games in 2019, the provider followed this up with the unveiling of Horse Racing, Penalty Shootout, and Fantastic League games at the 2020 ICE event. At the time of the launch, virtual games were described as Pragmatic Play’s fourth vertical, after online slots, live casino games, and bingo.
Virtual sports betting offers most of the same markets as traditional sports betting, but the events use random number generators to determine race and other results. Because virtual titles don’t rely on matches and events taking place in real time, and they can’t be affected by weather or other factors, they effectively offer 24-hour betting opportunities. As such, they have proven popular with online casinos as well as their customers.
Super Bike Racing isn’t Pragmatic Play’s first virtual sports release of the year. In June, the company unveiled an update to its Penalty Shootout title. Penalty Shootout Live launched, promising to mirror the tension and excitement of a real-life shootout.
Super Bike Racing will be available at online casinos offering Pragmatic Play’s virtual games in the coming days. In the meantime, players can get a feel for virtual sports betting and Pragmatic Play’s offerings, with the company’s Horse Racing title - one of its first virtual products.
The game is available to play at several UK-licensed online casinos, including 21Prive Casino. New players who register at 21Prive Casino can enjoy a 100% first deposit match up to the value of £100 as well as a bonus of 100 free spins.
