In the role - which will be based out of Relax Gaming’s head offices in the Isle of Man - Van den Berg will be responsible for leading the legal function and managing the group’s legal affairs.

Her new responsibilities will also include the chance to work closely with the business to provide strategic advice on all facets of the business operations and to support advancing the company’s goals and its growth strategy across global markets.

van den Berg joins the company after leaving her role as Chief Legal Officer at Games Global. There she was instrumental in setting up the global corporate group and helping to establish the group’s legal function and global legal strategy.

This appointment comes just over a year after Martin Stalros was appointed CEO of Relax Gaming. Since then, the company has continued to take great strides with aims of propelling itself to being one of the market leading game providers.

Speaking at the turn of the year, Stalros shared clues he wanted to put his own stamp on the exec team.

“I’m incredibly lucky to have a talented team around me,” stated Stalros. “We’re re-modelling our executive team to bring great experience and a fresh perspective to the company. The Relax culture is strong and it’s only going to grow stronger!”
