Stretch Network has announced there will be three new seasons of its World Poker League tournaments, following their successful launch last year. The events, set to take place between September 19 and December 21, offer a total guaranteed prize pot of £1.4m and include main events as well as Omaha tournaments. Event prize money ranges from £6,900 prizes for Mini Main Events to £65,000 for the biggest prize pots.
Stretch Network is a B2B poker software provider. As well as offering games directly through its own platform, the company also provides access to poker network games via its B2B software products. The software is used by Vbet, BetConstruct, web3poker, and a host of other online poker sites.
2024 saw Stretch Network’s first World Poker League and offered £1.7m in guaranteed prize money. This year’s prize fund is a little lower, with just under £1.4m, but it still offers some generous individual prizes in Texas Hold ‘Em and Omaha games.

As last year, the tournaments will take place across three seasons with breaks between each season to allow players the chance to refresh. Three Main Event tournaments offer prize pools of £43,000, £52,000, and £65,000 each. Mini Main Events offer pools of £7,000 each. Omaha Main Events, of which there will also be three, have prize pools of £5,000. There are also Daily Headliners as well as mystery bounty events, weekend tournaments, and tournament leaderboards.
Stretch Network said of the new World Poker League: “The World Poker League continues to strengthen Stretch Network’s reputation as a B2B poker provider and online poker platform, offering operators diverse tournament formats, large prize pools, and high engagement opportunities.”
At the beginning of January, Stretch Network announced the launch of its updated mobile poker software and, to celebrate and promote the launch, it offered a mobile freeroll series. The new network promises faster load speed times, better navigation, and improved reliability across the network.
The tournament offered freeroll multi-table tournaments and had combined prize pools of £13,000, with events taking place at the end of January.

Like a lot of online gambling, online poker saw a surge in popularity in 2020, having seen substantial growth around the early 2000s. Chris Moneymaker, an amateur who won the 2003 World Series of Poker, is credited with having pushed online play’s popularity higher.
Following an increased uptake, poker sites invested more money in advertising as well as their poker software, with sites like PokerStars especially keen on using celebrity endorsements and famous poker fans to help broaden their appeal.
Most recently, one of its ambassadors, global football superstar Neymar Jr, competed in a high-roller event at the PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker 2025. Although the Brazilian did well to reach the final table, he came last of seven, walking away with £19,000 from his £7,600 buy-in.
