Kwiff’s director of acquisition Gary McGibbon said: “We at Kwiff are delighted to partner with Millwall FC before their upcoming FA Cup clash at the weekend. We’ll have our fingers crossed The Lions can 'supercharge' their way into the next round!”
The company's bookie service is renowned for its ‘supercharged’ betting odds, which differ from that of a traditional bookie in that they randomly boost or ‘supercharge’ to higher prices. This gives players the opportunity to receive significantly bigger payouts should the bet come in.
Millwall’s head of commercial James Voisey has also expressed his delight at the partnership. He said: “We're delighted to have Kwiff on board for this weekend's FA Cup fifth round tie against Crystal Palace. "The guys have been brilliant in throwing their support behind us, so here's hoping they bring us luck and they're on the winning side!".
Saturday’s game will be the sides’ 100th meeting in all competitions and marks the first time the two have played at Selhurst Park since 2012, where they played out a 2-2 draw. They subsequently met in the FA Cup back in January 2022, where the Eagles secured a 2-1 away win at The Den in the third round.
Having finished 13th in the Championship last season, Millwall currently sit a place higher in 12th and are only six points adrift of the play-off places.
Recent results have inspired hope of a potential top-six finish under Alex Neil. The Lions have suffered only one single loss in their last eight league matches and have only lost one of their last five at home in all competitions.
Meanwhile, South London rivals Crystal Palace make the short trip, off the back of a resounding 4-1 home victory over Champions League hopefuls Aston Villa last time out.
Oliver Glasner’s men have rebounded from a tough start to the season to sit a comfortable 19 points above the relegation zone with an outside chance of a top-half finish.
The winner will secure a spot in Sunday’s FA Cup quarter-final draw, leaving them a single match away from a semi-final at Wembley Stadium.
Other ties across the weekend include Aston Villa’s hosting of Cardiff City on Friday evening, while Preston and Burnley meet in the Lancashire Derby on Saturday lunchtime.
Manchester City welcome Championship minnows Plymouth Argyle later in the day, while current holders Manchester United face Fulham at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Millwall vs Crystal Palace will be broadcast live on BBC One in the UK, with kick-off set for 12:15pm.
