“R&S’s comprehensive, premium data allows us to deliver a high-quality Racing product and deliver a first-rate user experience.”
He added that R&S have been a pleasure to work with, with hopes that the partnership can go from strength to strength.
The Racing and Sports platform provides extensive data, actionable bet prompts, and content across various languages.
Its product has been developed to gain traction across key European markets, beyond the UK and Ireland, to deliver “an unmatched horse racing product essential for success”.
Stephen Crispe, managing director and CEO, Racing and Sports, stated: “We are delighted to partner with Metric Gaming, a sportsbook platform provider renowned for its innovation and technological excellence.
“Being chosen as their racing and greyhound data partner after a rigorous sales process is a testament to the quality and consistency of our offering”, he added.
The R&S boss intimated the partnership would be a long-term arrangement, to ensure that Metric and Betzone are equipped to meet the evolving needs of both operators and bettors.
Horse racing remains a very popular sport and pastime among the British people, even if cost pressures were highlighted following the recent conclusion of the 2025 Cheltenham Festival.
Betting industry figures remain confident about the future of the racing sector, its allure to punters, and the direct impact on bookmakers.
Reflecting on Cheltenham 2025 and whether the festival was retaining its prestige and status, Boyle Sports’ head of communications and sponsorship was unequivocal in her backing.
Sharon McHugh responded: “Cheltenham remains the Olympics of national hunt racing and the ultimate fixture in the calendar. I think the way people are choosing to enjoy it is evolving.
“For example, just simply from a personal perspective, I know lots of people who took the week off work to enjoy it with friends in their local area. I know other people who travelled to Spain to enjoy it in a sunnier climate.”
