Arsenal hero Ray Parlour to represent NetBet UK after penning fresh deal
NetBet
NetBet UK has announced the renewal of a deal with former England and Arsenal footballer, Ray Parlour, which will see the 51-year-old represent the iGaming company across its sports betting and casino products.
As a midfielder for Arsenal, Middlesbrough and Hull, Parlour racked up 532 appearances in a trophy-laden career spanning 15 years. He debuted as the face of NetBet’s online betting products in 2024 – following the footsteps of other notable footballing legends who have partnered with iGaming entities.

Primarily responsible for expert sports-focused content and casino gaming coverage, the ‘Romford Pele’ stands as the operator’s most prominent figure in the modern era.
It is anticipated that this deal will build on last year’s endeavours, with NetBet set to feature Parlour in key marketing campaigns. In addition, the three-time Premier League winner’s footballing nous shall be utilised during the traditional football season – as NetBet seeks to have Parlour provide expert analysis for major events.
The 2003/04 Premier League 'Invincible' discussed his refreshed NetBet contract in a press release: "I’ve had a fantastic year with NetBet, and I’m delighted to continue as their brand ambassador in 2025. With so many huge sporting moments ahead, I can’t wait to be part of the action and share it with NetBet’s passionate players.”
NetBet CEO Marcel Prioteasa also outlined his thoughts on Parlour’s extension: “We’re excited to continue our partnership with Ray, whose passion and achievements align perfectly with our brand values. We look forward to another great year of collaboration, delivering exclusive insights and unique experiences that further connect our brand with sports fans and strengthen our identity in the market.”
Prioteasa is leading NetBet’s charge towards a progressive business model. A new-look betting app for casino and sports bettors arrived last year, as did the industry’s first AI-powered betting assistant. Known as ‘Bet AI Assistant’, this tool seeks to make wagering more accessible to all through pertinent fact-checked statistics, unparalleled access to vital information and assistance with placing bets.
Participation in NetBet’s 2024 Poker Tour evidenced Parlour’s keenness to partake in crucial events led by the betting company. Despite being eliminated twice on the opening day, his presence proved a success in the 285-player tournament. Known for landing silverware throughout his professional stint as a footballer, Parlour was on hand to distribute free rewards to random players. NetBet and Parlour dished out tickets worth between £5 and £300 to be used on the operator’s sports betting and casino products to random players – with the final handout totalling £1,000.
Expect increased appearances from Ray Parlour at NetBet UK events and online advertisements in 2025, as the pair collaborate to improve the businesses’ stature in an increasingly competitive market.
