User experience and interface

The user experience at NYspins is unfortunately rather poor. It’s borderline impossible to get any information on the site unless you complete the KYC process and make a deposit on the platform. This makes for an exclusive experience, but not in a good way. You can’t even access the live chat unless you’re logged in and have made a deposit, which does raise some concerns when you consider problems with being locked out of accounts, responsible gambling etc.

If NYspins really shines anywhere, then it’s from the payment methods at the site. You have the traditional methods, such as Visa, Mastercard and bank transfers, but there’s also a good range of alternative methods too. These include Trustly, Skrill and Paypal. Most of these require a minimum deposit of £20, but Trustly and PayByMobile offer a £10 minimum deposit. 

However, if you do deposit real money into your account and then do not access it for 12 months, then according to the Terms and Conditions, NYspins will begin deducting money from your account each month. It has a great range of games to play and the strong gaming licences and commitment to responsible gambling are reassuring. However, there is just an overall feeling of being unwelcome at this casino. 

We’re not sure if they wanted to go for a more exclusive feel, but the onboarding process seems counterintuitive. After signing up at the site, we could not longer even access it until we’d completed the KYC procedure. This is going to be offputting to players who might just want to check out the bonuses or see what the casino feels like after signing up. That’s not to mention those pesky terms and conditions which means your account funds will start to be drained after 12 months of inactivity.
