- Leg 3 – Over 2.5 goals in Girona vs Real Madrid @ 29/50 [Saturday 8pm]
- Leg 4 – Arsenal to beat Fulham & over 1.5 goals @ 9/10 [Sunday 2pm]
The hectic Christmas period is pretty much upon us and we've got some huge games to get stuck into. Here at FIRST, we’ve found four value plays across Europe including a meeting of two of last year’s top three in La Liga.
Leg 1 – Liverpool to beat Everton & over 1.5 goals @ 67/100 [Saturday 12:30pm]
Liverpool travel to local rivals Everton on Saturday with Arne Slot's side looking to return to winning ways after their 3-3 draw at Newcastle in midweek.
The Reds, who are seven points clear at the top of the Premier League, have been dominant under Slot (won 11, drawn two, lost one) and can extend their lead even further when they take on Everton at Goodison Park for the final time.
Everton pulled off a surprise 4-0 win against Wolves on Wednesday night but Liverpool should have far too much quality for Sean Dyche's side.
Liverpool, who have the best defensive record in the league, have scored two or more goals in their last nine games in all competitions. We're backing an away win and over 1.5 goals.
Leg 2 – Over 2.5 goals in Manchester United vs Nottingham Forest @ 69/100 [Saturday 5:30pm]
Ruben Amorim suffered his first Manchester United defeat on Wednesday as the Red Devils lost 2-0 at Arsenal and he'll be hoping to get back to winning ways as they host Nottingham Forest.
Forest had a brilliant start to the season but they've lost three of their last four league games to see them slip out of the top four.
United, who are 13th but hoping to climb towards the European places, are the favourites to win. But we're siding with over 2.5 goals as Forest are still dangerous.
So far Amorim's games have averaged 3.25 goals as United boss, while the selection has landed in five of Forest's last six league games.
Leg 3 – Over 2.5 goals in Girona vs Real Madrid @ 29/50 [Saturday 8pm]
From the Premier League to La Liga now as Real Madrid travel to Girona. Carlo Ancelotti's side are four points behind Barcelona in the title race but they have a game in hand.
Real Madrid are the most likely winners but Los Blancos have lost three of their last six in all competitions, including a 2-1 defeat at Athletic Bilbao on Wednesday.
Girona have impressed in spells so we're going with over 2.5 goals. Real Madrid's league games are averaging 2.9 goals, while Girona's tally is 2.8 goals per outing.
The pick has been a winner in four of Real Madrid's last five and three of Girona's last four La Liga games.
Leg 4 – Arsenal to beat Fulham & over 1.5 goals @ 9/10 [Sunday 2pm]
Since the international break last month, Arsenal have won all four of their outings by an aggregate scoreline of 15-3.
The Gunners travel to sixth-placed Fulham on Sunday and will hope to keep the pressure on league leaders Liverpool.
Mikel Arteta's side have found form since Martin Odegaard returned from injury and Arsenal will be too strong for Fulham. We're backing the Gunners to win but adding in over 1.5 goals to boost the odds.
