After a weekend of exciting FA Cup action, the Premier League returns for a midweek slate of fixtures and here at FIRST, we’ve got five value plays in our acca!

Leg 1 – Both teams to score in Chelsea vs Bournemouth @ 1/2 [Tuesday 7:30pm]

Chelsea are winless in their last four Premier League games and the Blues will be desperate to secure three points as they look to stay in the top four.

Enzo Maresca’s side aren’t worth getting behind against this decent Bournemouth team so we’re on both teams to score.

The selection has landed in 11 of Chelsea’s last 14 league games. While Bournemouth are without strikers Evanilson and Enes Unal, their away league matches are averaging 3.4 goals.

Leg 2 – Both teams to score in Brentford vs Manchester City @ 21/50 [Tuesday 7:30pm]

Manchester City have halted their horrendous run of form with Pep Guardiola’s side winning their last three in all competitions.

They’re the favourites to beat Brentford, however, we’re not picking a winner. Instead, we like both teams to score.

Even with City struggling, they’ve scored 36 goals in 20 Premier League games and they put eight past Salford in the FA Cup. Brentford, meanwhile, have the second-best home form with Thomas Frank’s side winning seven of their 10 matches while scoring 27 times.

Leg 3 – Both teams to score in Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool @ 3/5 [Tuesday 8pm]

Next up is this season’s surprise package Nottingham Forest against league leaders Liverpool.

Forest have won their last six league games while Liverpool can extend their lead at the top of the table to nine points with a win against Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.

It really feels like this one could go either way so backing both teams to score is the play. Liverpool have scored a league-high 47 times while Forest are battling with Newcastle at the top of the form table over the last five games.

Leg 4 – Newcastle to beat Wolves and over 2.5 goals @ 18/25 [Wednesday 7:30pm]

Newcastle, who have scored 15 times and conceded just once in their last five league outings, are looking to extend their winning run to six matches.

Eddie Howe’s side have the perfect opportunity to extend their hot streak as they host Wolves. The away side are firmly in a relegation battle while being without star man Matheus Cunha.

Newcastle should have more than enough and we’re adding in over 2.5 goals. Wolves’ games are averaging a league-high 3.8 goals while there have been three or more goals in six of Newcastle’s last seven outings.

Leg 5 – Arsenal to beat Tottenham and over 2.5 goals @ 41/50 [Wednesday 8pm]

Finally, we’re focusing on the north London derby as Arsenal host Tottenham.

Mikel Arteta’s side are hoping to keep the pressure on Liverpool whereas Spurs, who have lost three of their last four league games, sit mid-table.

Arsenal are yet to lose at home in the league (won six, drawn three) and Tottenham have won just three of their nine away matches.

All signs point to a Gunners win as they look to bounce back from their FA Cup exit but adding in over 2.5 goals makes sense. Arsenal’s matches average 2.9 goals while Spurs’ tally is 3.6.
