Blueprint Gaming, which is owned by German gaming company Merkur Group, has announced significant moves of its own - most notably, entering the Swiss iGaming market at the beginning of April when it signed a deal with Swiss Casinos.
Blueprint Gaming was founded in 2001, originally providing physical slot machines for gaming clubs and arcades. In 2008, however, the firm was acquired by Gauselmann Group, which was renamed to Merkur Group in 2008, which set them on the path to creating iGaming software.
By 2011, Blueprint Gaming was concentrating solely on the production and provision of online games. The design studio is especially well known for its intellectual property tie-ins. It is responsible for Goonies, TED, and Rick and Morty-themed slots.
The company has also produced other sought-after slots unrelated to existing franchises. Eye of Horus and Fishin’ Frenzy are two of the most popular, while Blueprint’s roster of Megaways titles are found at some of the biggest online casinos.
Blueprint releases 20 new games a year, which means NetBet UK will have access to a constantly growing portfolio of titles with this latest deal.
Blueprint Gaming’s account manager, Jack Lawson, said of the deal: “It really is brilliant to extend this partnership with NetBet and further enhance our UK offering.”
Recently, Blueprint Gaming also signed a deal with up-and-coming Ivy Casino at the beginning of April. And, a week ago, the company announced its expansion into the Swiss iGaming market with the signing of a partnership with Swiss Casinos.
NetBet started in the same year as Blueprint Gaming in 2001. They are licensed by the UK Gambling Commission but offer their products to players around the world. In March, they announced a new partnership with Swintt, which joined Playtech and Pragmatic Play, whose games are already featured on the site. The addition of Blueprint Gaming’s titles means players will have access to even more titles.
NetBet PR manager, Claudia Georgevici, said: “This partnership with Blueprint Gaming is incredibly exciting and we cannot wait for NetBet UK players to enjoy the studio’s captivating slot portfolio.
“This move once again demonstrates our commitment to customer satisfaction, ensuring our users have continued access to the leading releases on the market.”
The deal comes just after NetBet agreed to become the UFC’s official sportsbook partner in the UK, Ireland, Greece, Italy, and Romania. The deal officially started with the 22 March fight between Leon Edwards and Sean Brady.
