TaDa Gaming obtains UK gambling license and targets international expansion
Veteran iGaming software provider TaDa Gaming has acquired a “coveted” license from the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC).
Announced on 13 May, this certificate will allow the studio to publish its portfolio of games on platforms operating under the jurisdiction of the UKGC. This stands as a fresh addition to TaDa’s European forays - with its digital casino content already available in Malta, Greece, Romania and Sweden.

Now, popular TaDa-developed titles like the Fortune Gems series, Jackpot Joker and Legacy of Egypt will go live for UK players.
Of particular note are the team’s innovative fishing-shooting projects – an “industry-changing” genre inspired by Japanese releases. Featuring high-quality graphics, interactive gameplay and multiplayer action, this marks a debut UK appearance for the Asian smash hit game category.
New bingo, slots and crash games shall also enter the UK market through the approval of TaDa’s license.
Boasting over three decades of industry experience, TaDa Gaming has provided content for audiences in Latin America, North America and Africa. According to a press release, joining the UK scene has stood as a core company goal for some time – with TaDa leaders lauding the “valuable” nature of the British gaming landscape.
Proving that point, TaDa reviewed recent statistics derived from the UKGC in an official statement. The firm pointed to impressive gross gambling yield (GGY) figures - which hit the £15bn mark between April 2023 and March 2024 - as evidence for the nation’s flourishing market.
The Malta-headquartered iGaming organisation revealed that a “raft of new client signings” and in-house advancements have culminated in a successful growth strategy. TaDa Gaming anticipates its steady expansion to continue by virtue of trading in the UK:
A statement from the company reads: “Receiving the UKGC licence will enable further expansion and development for the energetic company.”
Underlining the cachet tied to a UK license, TaDa Gaming explained that the UKGC’s tight regulatory requirements and “prestige” allow certified studios to access an array of international markets.
TaDa Gaming CEO, Andy Huang, touched on the “demanding” nature of the UKGC in a public letter: ‘Whilst all gaming authorities rightly insist on rigorous standards and strict adherence to the rules, the UKGC has the reputation for being the most demanding.”
Huang continued to reaffirm TaDa’s commitment to fair gaming for all as the group seeks to expand operations: “We are delighted to have had our game protocols and commitment to the highest standards of fair play verified in this way, allowing us to expand our presence, increase our trust levels and deliver ever more safe, reliable and innovative gaming experiences to players in the UK and beyond.”
