Since partnering with, online crypto casino and bookie, BC.Game UFC star Colby Covington has held his first community charity event with the operator.
Covington, who has fought for the UFC welterweight title on three occasions, held a street charity event in Miami, on 20 February, where he handed out food and water to the city’s homeless population.

At the event, Covington said: “I believe in taking action when it comes to making a difference. It's not about talking, but about showing up and helping out when people need it most.”
The event comes after the 37-year-old was announced as the company’s new brand ambassador in December 2024 and marks the launch of BC.Game’s global charity initiatives in tandem with the UFC star.
Based in Curacao, the company launched in 2017 and is a cryptocurrency-based online casino offering a variety of casino games as well as the opportunity to place bets on live sport.
BC.Game supports a variety of currencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum as well as a host of altcoins. The company operates globally, except in markets where online gambling is illegal and where they’re unlicensed. They currently operate in various states in the United States as well as operating in some European countries too.
BC.Game stated their intent to hold several community charity events when announcing their partnership with Covington.
BC.Game CEO Jack Dorset said: “Colby is one of the most influential athletes today, and his resilience and pioneering spirit align perfectly with our brand philosophy. Through this partnership, we aim to expand our influence in the sports industry further and establish a deeper connection with players around the world.”
The American fighter is a well-known figure in the MMA world and is part of the UFC roster. Covington won the interim welterweight title with a unanimous decision win over Rafael dos Anjos in 2018, before suffering a fifth-round knockout against the division’s champion Kamaru Usman the following year.
Nevertheless, California-born Covington regrouped and took a rematch with Usman in 2021 but again found himself on the losing side, this time via unanimous decision.
Covington secured a third shot at the title in 2023 against then champion Leon Edwards but again suffered a unanimous decision loss.
His most recent outing also saw him come up short with a fifth-round stoppage defeat to Joaquin Buckley.
Other BC.Game brand ambassadors include the likes of music stars Jason Derulo and Lil Pump, whose partnerships were announced in September 2024.
Both performed at the company’s ‘Untamed Moments’ Dubai event in October, which marked a celebration of the ever-growing blend in the live entertainment and cryptocurrency industries.
BC.Game has also teamed up with several high-profile sports teams, becoming the official crypto partner of Premier League football team Leicester City.
The deal is worth a reported £31.7m and has seen BC.Game’s logo featuring on the front of the club’s shirts for the 2024/25 season.
