Luke Littler the favourite as 2025 BetMGM Premier League Darts odds are released
Luke Humphries is the second favourite behind his namesake Littler Imago
After the first darts tournament of the year drew to a close, there’s another round the corner as the 2025 BetMGM Premier League Darts begins in Belfast next month. Darts will be available to watch on TV every Thursday night from February through until May.
The 2025 PDC World Championship concluded in the first week of the year, with darts taking over the telly during the festive period. Luke Littler made history, becoming the youngest darts world champion that there’s ever been, and is hungry for more success.

Joining the teenage talent will be World Championship runner-up Michael van Gerwen, Luke Humphries, Stephen Bunting, Rob Cross, Gerwyn Price, Chris Dobey and Nathan Aspinall.
If you were to consider the rankings then world number six, seven and eight (Dave Chisnall, Jonny Clayton and Damon Heta) will feel unfortunate not to have made it in this year’s Premier League. Michael Smith and Peter Wright, who featured last year, also miss out this time.
Mike De Decker may also feel aggrieved, as he becomes the first player in the 20-year history of the Premier League to win a televised major and not be selected for the Premier League after the Belgian beat Luke Humphries in the 2024 World Grand Prix.
Reigning Premier League champion Luke Littler, who turns 18 later this month, recently turned world champion and is therefore favourite with title bookmaker BetMGM (6/4) to retain one of the three major titles that he won in 2024 – his first full year in the senior ranks.
Luke Humphries, last season’s Premier League runner-up, is second favourite (3/1) in his second tournament appearance. The 2024 World Champion lifted the World Cup, World Matchplay and Players Championship titles last year and is aiming to add a maiden Premier League title.
Despite not winning a major since September 2023, Michael van Gerwen is a seven-time Premier League winner. You’ll get a price of (6/1) for MVG to lift his eighth title in May 2025.
Stephen Bunting last took part in the Premier League back in 2015 and, after being picked as one of four wildcard entries for the tournament, The Bullet has been installed as fourth favourite (12/1) to triumph this year.
Previous runners-up Rob Cross (14/1) and Gerwyn Price (16/1) are also in the mix to win the 2025 Premier League, having finished second in 2019 and 2023 respectively, with both searching for their inaugural victory in this championship.
World number 10 Chris Dobey is out at (16/1) to pull off a shock victory, having only featured in the 2023 Premier League previously. The bookies deem Nathan Aspinall as being the least likely to win the tournament (40/1) with BetMGM believing he’s simply making up the numbers.
Every participating player in the 2025 edition is either a current or former major winner, so the Premier League will be an intriguing watch, as some of the most popular darts players in the world take over Europe every Thursday evening.
