BetComply celebrates “major coup” as hiring spree continues and ex Entain director is recruited

Technical and regulatory iGaming consultancy firm, BetComply, has hired former Entain director Jez White as the face of an all-new safer gambling role within the company. 

White, who previously served for more than eight years as Entain's director of player protection systems and analytics, shall assume the position of ‘safer gambling and sustainability specialist’ – a post that will debut alongside his arrival.

BetComply will benefit from White’s vast industry experience; during which he influenced key player protection technology services, risk management techniques and responsible gaming strategies. 

Prior to being promoted to director of player protection systems at Entain, White operated as the group’s head of player protection systems and oversaw analytics for Callcredit Information Group – cultivating his expertise and problem-solving nous that would lead him to BetComply this year. 

According to BetComply, White will be tasked with organising safer gambling strategies, designing customer relationship management (CRM) protocols for clients and auditing existing safer gambling schemes. 

His tenure with Entain is expected to contribute to positive results for BetComply, with the group specifically noting that White headed the integration of an “industry-leading” safer gambling strategy using pattern recognition models and real-time technology. 

It is anticipated that similarly high-level output at BetComply will boost the company’s already impressive industry prestige.

BetComply co-founder and CEO, Daniel Brookes, underlined White’s arrival as a significant moment for the group:

White’s addition to the BetComply team comes during an expansionary period for the group. Since December, BetComply has welcomed entrepreneur Warren Jacobs to the company’s board as a non-executive director and appointed Paola Menachem as head of legal and regulatory compliance.
