West Ham favourites to sign Jack Grealish as Everton rumours ramp up
On this page
After four seasons at Manchester City, Jack Grealish is expected to move on from the Etihad Stadium during the 2025 transfer window.
The ex-Aston Villa midfielder will turn 30 in September – and Pep Guardiola outlined last month that a transfer may stand as an appropriate outcome for all parties.
Now, little over a month on from the announcement that Grealish would be left out of City’s Club World Cup squad, Ladbrokes have listed a new front-runner to acquire the three-time Premier League champion.

West Ham (7/2)
The Hammers are firm favourites to land Jack Grealish this summer, listed at 7/2 by Ladbrokes.
Recent media reports point to a potential loan deal, with a permanent move likely out of the question due to the English winger’s monumental wage packet.
Guardiola expressed that Grealish needs to find the “butterflies in his stomach” and prove “that he can play every three days again” – alluding to a potential lack of fire within the attacker’s current mindset.
The London Stadium bears lowered expectations compared to its Etihad counterpart, and, with Mohamed Kudus now plying his trade for Tottenham, Graham Potter’s side is in dire need of fresh creativity.
It’s a move that makes sense on paper, but the decision likely rests in the player’s corner.

Aston Villa (2/1)
Everyone loves a romantic footballing return.
Jack Grealish enjoyed seven successful campaigns at Aston Villa, scoring 32 goals in 212 appearances. A journey back to the Midlands has been mooted by some bookmakers – and Ladbrokes have this transfer at 2/1.
However, few factors work in favour of Grealish’s purported Villa homecoming.
Unai Emery’s side revolves around fast-paced creativity from both flanks – talents Grealish hasn’t meaningfully displayed since 2021; Pep Guardiola transformed the left-sided dribbler into a slow, foul-inducing individual who prioritises ball retention over flair.
Although odds suggest a move to Villa Park, there’s little working in favour of a transfer.

Napoli (2/1)
Reigning Italian champions, Napoli, have held a longstanding interest in Jack Grealish.
A deal had been discussed in June – but City’s £40m price tag, as well as steep wage demands from the player’s camp, saw talk of a permanent move fall away.
Regardless, Napoli remain keen on Grealish, and a loan with an obligation to buy could fit all involved.
It’s 2/1 with Ladbrokes.

Everton (7/1)
Most fascinating of Ladbrokes’ Jack Grealish next club odds is the bookmaker’s pricing on a move to Merseyside.
Many media reports herald The Hill Dickinson Stadium as the perfect destination for England’s struggling star. But, as with other teams allegedly interested in Grealish, financing the switch could prove difficult.
Put your philosophical hat on, though, and you see that the stars have aligned to allow this transfer to flourish.
Everton are on the brink of a fresh start at a brand-new stadium, with renewed anticipation that the club can improve over its dismal final season at Goodison Park.
Grealish, also eager to revamp his footballing fortunes, could suit the Toffees’ current disposition. At 7/1, a bet on Grealish to Everton represents the best value for this market.
