This latest product places significant power in players’ hands via access to customisable markets spanning over 120 elite sports leagues.
Unlike traditional sports betting facilities, the Sporting Risk player-led bet builder allows bettors to combine multiple unique head-to-head (H2H) player markets – such as player vs player comparisons.
This way, users can bet on whether particular individuals outperform their respective opposition counterparts.
Bookmakers benefit from fully customisable margins and pricing limits – empowering operators to optimally apply the service’s facilities.
Moreover, the system can automatically implement promotional content tied to the novel feature. For example, a bookmaker looking to integrate a temporary 15% boost on all H2H selections — or any other similar bonus — will see the offer automatically applied to relevant customer selections once the promotion is established.
Pre-match and in-play markets are supported by the newfound bet builder and any intertwined promotions. Bookmakers must simply advertise the betting option or its affiliated promotion to garner traction, while the Sporting Risk-developed software oversees all other operations.
Sporting Risk CCO, Andy Phillips, pointed to the need for increased flexibility in an ever-evolving market as a major driver behind this release: "With sportsbook margins increasing, it is important for operators to offer more excitement and flexibility to customers.
"Bet builder is one of the most significant parts of a sportsbook and player markets are a key driver in mature markets. Giving customers the option to combine both helps operators stay competitive."
Phillips’ view on the growing need for more customer opportunities through bet builders is reflected by the wider industry.
Major operators, like bet365 and Paddy Power, have allowed users to mix and match outcomes from different markets for several years – and these additions have borne tangible results due to notable customer appetite for personalisable wagers throughout the sports betting scene.
Now, Sporting Risk builds upon its existing slate of core features by virtue of a state-of-the-art bet builder. The group already provides a sophisticated price feed for player proposition and interval-focused markets; all set in motion by predictive models manufactured by the firm’s data science department.
The implementation of Sporting Risk’s modern customer-led bet builder is intended to be straightforward and on-site integration of dynamic pricing models is available to operators through a customisable plug-in widget or an API.
According to the analytical platform, both options offer “optimal solutions in line with the client’s requirements” – indicating that a fluid communicative process precedes any arrangement.
