Tom Aspinall, current interim UFC heavyweight champion, has penned a deal with casino game provider Spribe as part of the group’s marketing campaign for popular crash game, Aviator.
The 31-year-old is set to advertise the innovative casino game along with fellow UFC stars Johnny Walker, Merab Dvalishvili and Alex Pereira. It is anticipated that this campaign will encourage fans of the sport to engage with the software developer’s hit release. Such ambitions go hand in hand with the studio’s description of the game, which is touted as an “engaging and social” experience for all players.

Outlining his excitement of the ambassadorial role with Spribe, Aspinall commented: “Taking flight in Aviator is just as thrilling as stepping into the Octagon on fight night, so I’m excited for my fans to experience what the game has to offer.
The British fighter also touched on upcoming plans to broaden Aviator’s reach: “The team at Spribe have some great campaigns planned for the coming months which I’m excited to be a part of as we work together to ensure that Aviator really takes flight.”
Spribe CEO and founder, David Natroshvili, discussed his delight at the onboarding of Aspinall: “Tom is one of the toughest and most celebrated fighters in the UFC right now and we are excited for him to join our ranks as an Aviator ambassador. He has a large and loyal fanbase that we are certain will love the thrills that Aviator provides and look forward to working with Tom on a number of campaigns over the coming 12 months."
Natroshvili continued to underscore the critical nature of advertising deals of this ilk, saying: “These brand ambassador deals, and our partnership with the UFC and other sports franchises, show our commitment to ensuring Aviator remains the number one crash game on the planet and that as many people as possible get to play it.”
In addition to welcoming professional martial arts athletes to Spribe, the iGaming software development firm recently reaffirmed its commitment with UFC operator, TKO Group Holdings, via a long-term contract that sees Spribe and Aviator logos displayed in the Octagon during global UFC events. Moreover, that contract stipulates that select fighters shall participate in deals similar to the agreement with Aspinall.
The announcement of Tom Aspinall’s newfound pact with Spribe follows a turbulent period for the Manchester-born interim UFC champion. He has publicly expressed a desire to face UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones in an event that would unify both belts – but New York-native Jones has shrugged off suggestions that Aspinall should be his next opponent in line.
Whether Aspinall attains a bout with longstanding rival-from-afar, Jones, remains to be seen – but no such question marks surround his affiliation with Aviator or its parent company, Spribe. Expect social media posts, video advertisements and other Aspinall-Aviator material throughout this 12-month marketing deal.
