What are Bet442 all about?
Bonuses
Bet442’s welcome bonus for new customers of bet £20 and get a £10 free bet. The qualifying bet must be placed at odds of 1/1 (2.00) or greater and your free bet can only be used on selections that are 4/5 (1.80) or higher. Must be used within 14 days.
Available sports
Bet442 has a brilliant variety of markets available on every sport imaginable. They’re definitely worth checking out if you’re into niche sports, as they have markets on the likes of chess and bandy, while they also know their stuff when it comes to esports. Additionally, they have the main sports (football, tennis, golf and more) covered too.
Their football coverage is decent and they have an impressive amount of statistics in tandem with their big games. A couple of minor flaws relate to their lack of player markets. They have player to score, to assist a goal, or to be carded but there aren’t any player shots on target or fouls markets. You can combine selections into a Bet Builder which is a nifty tool to use.
When you click on their football tab, there are separate tabs to help build quick accumulators. They have full time result, over/under goals, both teams to score, handicap, double chance and more. It’s a useful tool if you know what markets you’re looking to bet on.
They have all horse racing meetings covered and offers markets such as backing the winner, forecasts and tricasts.
Bet442’s in-play options are pretty good and they have plenty of markets for numerous sports, including esports. They’re all over bigger sports like football and tennis but they also cover live basketball, badminton, table tennis and more. They have impressive graphics to accompany in-play events while you can also access in-depth statistics to help you make informed decisions.
If esports are your thing, you need to check out Bet442. They have 12 esport tabs for each individual game on their all-sports list. They have numerous markets and you can bet on in-play events. They have markets on League of Legends, Dota 2, Valorant, Counter-Strike and Rainbow Six.
FIRST was pleasantly surprised by Bet442's US sport coverage. You can create Bet Builders on NFL and NBA games and they have a vast amount of markets to choose from. You’re not tied to just one number on the over/under for markets like player receiving yards on an NFL bet. They offer a handful of options so you can create your perfect bet.
User experience and interface
We found Bet442 easy to use, while their black, grey and green colour scheme is slick and easy on the eye. Overall, I’d say the user experience on the site is decent.
The site is simple with all major sports right in front of you, while it’s easy to access their ‘all sports tab’ and their search bar.
When you go on the site, you’re greeted with a list of sports. They put football, horse racing and greyhounds at the top of the list as they’re popular amongst bettors. They then have their ‘boosted odds’ section where they enhance the price of a certain selection. You then see their ‘highlights’ tab which offers markets on the biggest upcoming sporting events. As you keep scrolling down, you are given more markets in order of priority.
Next to that is their ‘in-play’ tab. They also have a ‘today’ section and you can see what sporting events are happening that day from football to esports.
Mobile and App compatibility
Bet442’s desktop and mobile sites are pretty much the same. The welcome offer is prominent on both sites until you sign in, then it disappears.
The A-Z list of sports is on the left of the screen on desktop and they are also more invested in live events. Whereas the mobile site immediately shows you upcoming events such as Premier League football. There is also a ‘next races’ section on the right of the screen on desktop which shows the next horse or greyhound race going off in the UK and Ireland. Below that is a Bet Builder section and if you click on a game it takes you to their markets.
Their mobile site is slick, efficient and great for new sports bettors as it’s easy to find whatever markets you're after. They also have tabs at the bottom of the page which link to their homepage, my bets, in-play, betslip and more (takes you to all sports, favourites, Bet Builder and settings).
Apple App Store: 3.4/5 stars (5+ reviews)
Google Play Store: 2.9/5 stars (13+ reviews)
VIP programmes and loyalty rewards
Unfortunately, Bet442 doesn't offer a VIP loyalty rewards programme. Their only promotion is their acca boost. You can get up to 77% more winnings on your acca and the more selections you add in, the bigger the boost. The bet must have four or more picks at odds of 1/2 (1.5).
