Copybet bookmaker review
Simon Head
A newcomer to the UK sports betting space, the ‘sportsbook with benefits’, CopyBet has arrived with a standard betting site, but with a unique twist. The option to add a parallel account from which you copy their top tipster’s bets with bets of your own.

What is CopyBet all about?
Bonuses
CopyBet’s ‘Bet 10 Get 50’ welcome offer is a strong one, but that’s not the end of their offers and bonuses. Once you’re registered, you have access to a range of different offers, with Weekly Challenge, Profit Boost, Acca Booster and Bet Builder promotions running on the site during the time of our review.
Available sports
CopyBet has a wide selection of sports and markets on offer, but perhaps doesn’t have quite the same breadth of options as many of its more established rivals. Esports betting is a notable omission, as are virtual sports. Rather than having a catch-all motorsports section, they’ve focused on Formula 1 and NASCAR. Fans of the Scandinavian sport of bandy will be happy to see that included here, too.
User experience and interface
I’ve used, tested and reviewed a plethora of sites, and found the CopyBet slightly trickier to navigate and use. The front page of the site, which gives you a dashboard, rather than the usual front page of a betting site, as well as being required to access dual accounts to use the betting site and the Copybet platform. It seems like an idea that is still a work in progress but if polished could become the envy of others. However to those new to sports betting or getting fatigued with the same platforms, this could be a refreshing take and easier to navigate. Their calendar view option, which allows you to see every match, game or fight from your chosen sports in a chronological list, is an outstanding feature.
Mobile and app compatibility
The CopyBet app looks great, but during our review we found it to be operationally quite slow. Pages took time to load, and just surfing around trying to find your chosen sport just seemed like harder work than it should have been. There’s a lot to like about how it’s designed and laid out, but in terms of actual usability, there’s much to improve on here.
App Store: 4.2/5 stars (1.6k ratings)
Google Play: 2.7/5 stars (335 reviews)
VIP programmes and loyalty rewards
During the time of our review, we couldn’t find specific VIP or loyalty programmes, but some of their ongoing offers work in a way similar to loyalty programmes, with rewards/bonuses on offer for regular players.
