What is Slots52 all about?

Slots52 opened to UK players in April 2022 without much fanfare. It’s one of more than 120 Jumpman Gaming brands, many of which look almost identical. 

Apart from the garish purple colour scheme, there’s very little about this casino to differentiate it from a crowded market. Perhaps that’s why it still flies under the radar with most British gamblers.

I couldn’t figure out the significance of “52” in the casino’s name. Perhaps it’s a subtle nod to playing cards, and the dozens of table games accompanying a library of 1,000+ slots.

The Slots52 welcome offer isn’t great. Sure, the headline of 500 free spins on Starburst looks good – but you won’t get that. 

Instead, you’ll spin the Mega Reel after making your first deposit of at least £10. You could win the top prize of 500 spins, but you’re more likely to collect a smaller amount, or possibly an Amazon gift voucher.

What’s more, earnings from these spins carry a preposterous wagering requirement of 65x. There’s also a maximum win of £250.

The ongoing promotions, found under the “Offers” tab, aren’t bad – but the 65x playthrough also applies. These include:

There’s a lot going on at Slots52, but a poorly-designed lobby makes it impossible to tell you exactly what. 

At the top of the page are six buttons: “Popular”, “Slots”, “Casino”, “Live”, “Jackpots” and “Bingo”. Scroll down each page to see a limited number of categories, like “Megaways” or “Table & Card” – however, most of these can’t be expanded.

If you already know what game you want, the search bar works perfectly. I used this to find several classic games, including Gonzo’s Quest, Book Of Dead and around 25 of the Big Bass slots.

Similarly, this method revealed some crash games are present – but not Aviator – and there are no multi-million pound progressive jackpots, such as Mega Moolah. 

I also count at least 1,000 slots, including 193 Megaways titles, and over 100 live casino games from Pragmatic Play, OnAir Entertainment and Playtech.

User experience and interface

As I mentioned, the lobby needs improvement – ideally a lot more clickable categories and filters, to help you find the right games.

What’s more, the live casino integration is poor. Click “Live” and all you see is a list of roulette and blackjack games. There’s no way to look up game shows, for instance, or filter by supplier.

Basically, you must punch a game name into the search bar and pray it’s there. When you find one, such as Adventures In Wonderland by Playtech, you can then see other games from that provider once the game loads. 

However, try to click on the categories, like "Roulette" or “Poker”, and you’re immediately kicked out of the provider lobby and returned to the Slots52 homepage.

Mobile and app compatibility

There isn’t a native iOS or Android app for Slots52. To be honest, you don’t need one anyway. 

The website is mobile responsive, meaning it automatically reconfigures the design for optimal display on any smartphone or tablet. 

It’s just as easy to use as the desktop version, with swipeable and scrollable lists of games. The right-hand navigation menu is identical, but it’s hidden behind the profile icon in the top-right corner.

VIP programmes and loyalty rewards

Slots52 lacks a traditional loyalty or VIP program, but makes up for it somewhat with Trophies. These are comparable to the missions and quests found at some other online casinos.

Slots52 has been around since April 2022, so I doubt we’ll see those much needed changes any time soon. If we did, there’s no reason why it couldn’t become a leading player in the UK casino market.
