Imago Fulham's Harry Wilson to be the scourge of Ruben Amorim's Manchester United at Craven Cottage?
Imago Fulham's Harry Wilson to be the scourge of Ruben Amorim's Manchester United at Craven Cottage?

Fulham state of play

Fulham bounced back from their first defeat in 10 games by comfortably beating Leicester last Saturday.

Emile Smith Rowe and Adama Traore were on target in the second half at the King Power Stadium to cement the Whites' place in the top half of the Premier League table.

Marco Silva's side are among the group of teams chasing European qualification, although they will need to string a run of wins together if they are to stand a chance of playing in continental competition next term.

Manchester United state of play

Ruben Amorim branded his United side the 'worst team maybe in the history' of the club in the aftermath of last Sunday's 3-1 defeat to Brighton.

It was a sixth loss in 11 league games since Amorim's appointment to leave the Red Devils seven points adrift of the top 10 and a bottom-half finish appearing likely.

There was a bit of relief for the Portuguese boss in the Europa League on Thursday, however, as Bruno Fernandes' last-gasp winner capped off a dramatic end to their clash with Rangers.

Key talking point: Fulham to continue United's woes?

While United toil, Fulham are enjoying a fine campaign - but they really should have more points on the board.

Sander Berge's brilliant return from injury coincided with victory at Leicester and his presence alongside Sasa Lukic should mean the hosts dominate the engine room.

Fulham are unbeaten in five home games and Craven Cottage represents a stiff test for the visitors, who have earned just two away wins all campaign.

Amorim is still getting to grips with the team he inherited from Erik ten Hag and a return of 11 points from 11 league matches suggests he is struggling to get his ideas across.

If there is a spark of hope for the visitors then it is Fulham's questionable defensive record as they have kept just one clean sheet at home all season.

FIRST’s top tip for Fulham vs Manchester United

Double chance & both teams to score yes/no - Fulham or draw & yes - 5/4 (Betway)

Fulham should be getting a result against a poor United team and this selection would have landed in eight of their 11 home matches.

Extra tips

Player to score & assist - Harry Wilson - 10/1 (Betway)

Wilson is enjoying his best Premier League season, contributing 0.58 goals per 90 minutes. The Welshman also makes 2.07 key passes and attempts 3.45 crosses per 90. He should be on some set pieces if Andreas Pereira doesn't start.

Player to be carded - Sasa Lukic - 39/20 (Mr.Play)

Lukic is one booking away from a ban but is often late into tackles thanks to his all-action style and averages 2.63 fouls per game.

Team news

Kenny Tete and Reiss Nelson remain on the sidelines for Fulham.

Matthijs de Ligt and Leny Yoro are major doubts for the visitors after suffering injuries against Rangers. Jonny Evans, Mason Mount and Luke Shaw are unavailable.
