With Liverpool failing to beat Aston Villa in midweek, Arsenal have a good opportunity to put pressure on the Reds before their trip to Manchester City on Sunday, in which we have a full Liverpool vs Manchester City tips breakdown to get you in the mood.
At the wrong end of the table, the bottom four all face sides who are in the top 12. It looks like a tough weekend for the strugglers.

Leicester vs Brentford betting tips
Brentford beat Leicester 4-1 in November, with a Yoane Wissa goal accompanying a Kevin Schade hattrick. The rest of the Bees’ front-three brigade should get on the score sheet here.
Bryan Mbeumo’s only goal in his last five league games was a penalty. That aside, he had 16 shots with seven on target. Having squandered over one expected goal of opportunities in the process, Mbeumo should cash in against a weak defence.
Scoreline prediction
Leicester 1-3 Brentford (16/1 with Matchbook)
FIRST’s top tip:
Bryan Mbeumo to score any time (8/5 with BetMGM)
Everton vs Manchester United betting tips
Manchester United have a strong record at Goodison Park. Their confidence must be low, though, while Everton are flying.
They have the joint-best record in the Premier League across the last five games. The return of David Moyes has seen the Toffees beat Brighton and Tottenham while drawing with cross-city rivals Liverpool, all of whom are better than United.
Everton should take the three points, but a safer bet is sensible.
Scoreline prediction
Everton 2-1 Manchester United (8/1 with Vegasland)
FIRST’s top tip:
Draw no bet: Everton (15/19 with Spinzwin)
Arsenal vs West Ham betting tips
Arsenal crawled over the line at Leicester last weekend, Mikel Merino their unlikely hero. This should be far more straightforward considering West Ham’s poor form.
Granted, they won at the Emirates Stadium last season. However, the balance of chances strongly favoured the Gunners, who have beaten the Hammers by at least three goals twice since.
With Arsenal’s injuries, this won’t be so emphatic. They should overcome a modest handicap though.
Scoreline prediction
Arsenal 2-0 West Ham (17/4 with Luckster)
FIRST’s top tip:
Arsenal -1 (8/11 with BetMGM)
Bournemouth vs Wolves betting tips
Wolves won 2-1 at the Vitality Stadium last season but Bournemouth have come a long way since. Indeed, they’ve won twice at Molineux for starters.
While the Cherries should prevail again, an away goal is likely. Wolves have only failed to score in three of their 13 matches on the road this season.
With only Brentford having had more matches in which both teams scored and there were at least three goals, there will be action at both ends here.
Scoreline prediction
Bournemouth 2-1 Wolves (6/1 with Bet442)
FIRST’s top tip:
Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals (22/25 with Zetbet)
Fulham vs Crystal Palace betting tips
Crystal Palace won none of their last six league games with Fulham. However, they are unbeaten in their four visits to Craven Cottage since the start of 2018/19.
The Eagles are also in good form on the road, having won their last three away games 2-0 at Manchester United, West Ham and Leicester respectively.
Fulham are better than those sides, but Palace should be able to return home across town with a positive result.
Scoreline prediction
Fulham 1-1 Crystal Palace (11/2 with Spreadex)
FIRST’s top tip:
Double chance: Crystal Palace or Draw (3/4 with Mr.Play)
Ipswich vs Tottenham betting tips
Ipswich picked up their first win of the season at Tottenham. It is also continually risky to back Spurs for a victory, such has been their erratic form.
But if they can’t beat a side that lost six of their previous seven league games at home, they’re in deep trouble.
With players starting to return from injury including former Norwich man James Maddison, the prices urge you to back Tottenham.
Scoreline prediction
Ipswich 1-2 Tottenham (13/2 with Vegasland)
FIRST’s top tip:
Tottenham to win (9/10 with Luckster)
Southampton vs Brighton betting tips
Brighton won their last visit to Southampton 3-1. Although the Saints got a 1-1 draw at the Amex Stadium in November, another goal-heavy game is likely.
Southampton lost 3-1 in their previous two home league games, with a 5-0 thumping by Brentford occurring in the game before.
This won’t be a repeat of Brighton’s last away match, which was a 7-0 loss at Nottingham Forest. But there should be at least four goals once again.
Scoreline prediction
Southampton 1-3 Brighton (10/1 with Spinzwin)
FIRST’s top tip:
Over 3.5 goals (13/10 with Mr.Play)
Aston Villa vs Chelsea betting tips
If you like feisty matches featuring plenty of cards, this is the game for you this weekend.
The last eight meetings between Aston Villa and Chelsea have seen an average of 5.1 cards, with eight shown at Villa Park last season.
Match referee Michael Oliver is second in the Premier League for the proportion of matches featuring at least six cards. With these teams and this official, expect bookings galore.
Scoreline prediction
Aston Villa 2-1 Chelsea (15/2 with Zetbet)
FIRST’s top tip:
Over 5.5 cards (6/5 with Spreadex)
Newcastle vs Nottingham Forest betting tips
Whichever side has been on the road has won the last four Premier League meetings of these clubs.
The form guide does not help in predicting this, with both losing two of their last three league games at home or away as appropriate here.
Let’s take a goal line. Both teams scored in the last five meetings in all competitions, with at least four goals in the previous three in the league. Could be a cracker.
Scoreline prediction
Newcastle 2-1 Nottingham Forest (42/5 with Matchbook)
FIRST’s top tip:
Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals (23/25 with Bet442)
Manchester City vs Liverpool betting tips
This fixture ended 1-1 last season, with Trent Alexander-Arnold equalising in the 80th minute.
Matches between these teams at the Etihad Stadium usually reach parity far earlier, with the preceding four meetings all being 1-1 by the 31st minute at the latest.
Manchester City are the top-scoring first-half side in the Premier League this season, with 29 goals. Liverpool are just one behind, having played a game more.
That suggests there should be a couple of first-half goals in this fixture as usual.
Scoreline prediction
Manchester City 1-2 Liverpool (15/2 with Vegasland)
FIRST’s top tip:
Over 1.5 first-half goals (Evens with Spreadex)
Odds correct at the time of writing.
