The Weekly Acca: England, Germany & France feature in our international shout

The final international break of 2024 is upon us as attention shifts once again from domestic action to the Nations League this weekend.
Leg 1 – Turkey to beat Wales @ 18/25 [Saturday 5pm]
After playing out a 0-0 draw in Wales back in September, while also being down to 10 men for half an hour, Turkey have gone on to win their last three Nations League games.
Turkey, who were knocked out of Euro 2024, in the quarter-finals by the Netherlands, have also scored eight times in their last three outings.
Although Wales have impressed and look solid under Craig Bellamy, The Dragons could find a trip to a hostile atmosphere in the Kadir Has Stadium, in Turkey, a step too far in their progression.
They're also without star striker Kieffer Moore due to a calf injury, which is a major blow. In this case, there could be value in backing Turkey to win.
Leg 2 – Germany -1 on the handicap vs Bosnia & Herzegovina @ 7/20 [Saturday 7:45pm]
Germany have been dominant in the Nations League under Julian Nagelsmann and we're expecting more of the same as they host Bosnia & Herzegovina on Saturday night.
They top their group after winning three and drawing one of their four outings. They've also scored 10 times and conceded just three.
Germany host a Bosnia & Herzegovina side that are still searching for their first win in the competition after drawing once and losing three times.
It could be a long night for the visitors and instead of backing Germany to win, we're siding with them -1 on the handicap, meaning we need them to win by two or more goals.
Leg 3 – England -1 on the handicap vs Ireland @ 29/50 [Sunday 5pm]
England host Ireland in the biggest game involving home nations this weekend.
In September, the Three Lions ran out 2-0 winners in a comfortable victory in Dublin and we're expecting the same outcome on Sunday.
Lee Carsley is in the hot seat once again ahead of Thomas Tuchel's arrival in 2025 and he'll be keen to end his spell in charge with a win at Wembley Stadium.
Ireland have struggled in the Nations League and England should have far too much quality for their rivals. England -1 on the handicap is the play.
Leg 4 – Both teams to score in Italy vs France @ 4/5 [Sunday 7:45pm]
Two European powerhouses in Italy and France, who have won six World Cups between them, face off on Sunday night.
The two teams have been dominant in the Nations League this year but Italy ran out 3-1 winners when the sides played in Paris in September.
While Italy will fancy a repeat of the result, we're not picking a winner. Instead, our selection is for both teams to score.
There appears to be simply too much quality on the pitch for both teams to fail to score. Expect plenty of action at the San Siro in Milan.
