After more entertaining action in European competition this midweek, attention returns to domestic matters this weekend. We’ve got some big Premier League matches and a few European giants in the equation too.

Leg 1 – Bayern Munich -1 on the handicap vs FC St. Pauli @ 63/100 [Saturday 2:30pm]

Bayern Munich return to Bundesliga action on Saturday as the table toppers host newly promoted St. Pauli, who are hovering above the relegation zone.

Vincent Kompany's side are still unbeaten in the league this season (won seven, drawn two) and they've scored a remarkable 32 goals in those nine games while conceding just seven times.

St. Pauli are yet to win at home this campaign and they've also failed to score in front of their home fans in four games.

There’s value in backing Bayern -1 on the handicap, meaning we need them to win by two or more goals, which they’ve done in their last three Bundesliga outings.

Leg 2 – Both teams to score in Brighton vs Manchester City @ 13/20 [Saturday 5:30pm]

Manchester City will be eager to return to winning ways as they travel to Brighton on Sunday.

This is the first time since 2018, they’ve lost three consecutive matches under Pep Guardiola. City were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Tottenham, before suffering their first loss of the Premier League season to Bournemouth last week. They followed that up with a 4-1 defeat at Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League in midweek.

Brighton, meanwhile, are just outside the top six in the league after losing twice this season.

Instead of choosing a winner on Sunday, both teams to score is the pick. The selection has landed in four of Brighton's last five league games, while it's the same tally for City.

Brighton and City have only failed to score in two of their 26 games combined in all competitions.

Leg 3 – Both teams to score in Nottingham Forest vs Newcastle United @ 13/20 [Sunday 2pm]

Nottingham Forest have been brilliant this season and they’re currently third in the league standings after winning five, drawing four and losing one of their 10 games.

They host Newcastle with Eddie Howe's men pulling off a couple of impressive wins against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup and Arsenal in the league.

Forest have won their last three while scoring seven in that period and they're second in the form table over the last five games. They seem the most likely winners but we're keen on both teams to score.

The home side have scored in 10 of their 11 games in all competitions, while Newcastle have netted in all but two of their outings.

Leg 4 – Manchester United -1 on the handicap vs Leicester @ 17/20 [Sunday 2pm]

Manchester United host Leicester City on Sunday in a repeat of last week's Carabao Cup fixture, which saw the Red Devils win 5-2.

United are 13th in the Premier League, just two spots above Leicester, however, spirits around Old Trafford are high ahead of new manager Ruben Amorim's arrival later this month.

The Red Devils should have far too much quality for Leicester, who have conceded 15 times in their last six games. Instead of backing United to win at a short price, there's value in backing them -1 on the handicap.

Leg 5 – Both teams to score in Chelsea v Arsenal @ 53/100 [Sunday 4:30pm]

Chelsea and Arsenal face off in the biggest Premier League game of the weekend as both sides come in with the exact same record (won five, drawn three, lost two).

The teams have been dominant in spells but they've also suffered a couple of frustrating defeats. We're keen on both teams to score as there's too much quality on the pitch for there not to be goals.

The selection has landed in Chelsea's last five league games and Arsenal have netted in eight of their ten league matches so far this campaign. We're expecting more of the same on Sunday.
