Premier League action takes a backseat this weekend and we’re focused on the FA Cup fourth round. Here at FIRST, we’ve picked out four value plays.

Leg 1 – Over 2.5 goals in Man United vs Leicester @ 2/5 [Friday 8pm]

Thirteen-time FA Cup winners Manchester United host Leicester with the Red Devils desperate to bounce back from a disappointing home defeat against Crystal Palace last weekend.

While they make up the first part of our weekend four-fold, FIRST also have a full Manchester United vs Leicester betting preview of Friday night’s big match.

Ruben Amorim is realising how big the United job is and while they’re struggling, Leicester are even worse.

The Foxes have won just four of their 24 league games and they look destined for relegation.

While United, who have beaten Leicester 3-0 and 5-2 already this season, should get the win, we're backing over 2.5 goals.

Leicester's games average 3.3 goals per outing, while United's tally is 2.6. But it's both club's porous defences that stand out here. United have conceded more goals on average at home (1.69) than on the road (1.09), with Leicester conceding 2.67 goals on average away from home.

With both managers expected to make changes, there could be a few rusty players and that may lead to mistakes and goals.

Leg 2 – Fulham to beat Wigan and over 2.5 goals @ 33/50 [Saturday 3pm]

Fulham travel to League One’s Wigan but we're not expecting to see any cup magic as we fancy a routine victory for the Premier League side.

Marco Silva's men are coming into the clash on the back of their impressive 2-1 win at Newcastle and Fulham are just seven points off the top four in the league.

Fulham's fringe players should have too much quality for Wigan, who are 16th in League One having won one of their last four games.

We're chucking in over 2.5 goals which has landed in six of Fulham's last eight outings.

Leg 3 – Newcastle to beat Birmingham and over 2.5 goals @ 9/10 [Saturday 5:45pm]

Newcastle beat Arsenal in midweek to book their place in the Carabao Cup final and the Toon are desperate to pick up silverware.

That eagerness for a trophy should lead to Eddie Howe fielding a strong enough side against League One leaders Birmingham as Newcastle will fancy their chances of going deep in the FA Cup as well.

Newcastle have won seven of their last nine in the league and their matches are averaging three goals. The home side Birmingham have notched an average of 1.7 goals per match during the 2024/2025 League One campaign, showcasing their goalscoring nous.

Alexander Isak and Anthony Gordon were on fire against Arsenal. If that continues on Saturday then a Toon win and over 2.5 goals at 9/10 could be the value play.

Leg 4 – Aston Villa to beat Tottenham and over 1.5 goals @ 1/1 [Sunday 5:35pm]

Finally, in the bizarre kick-off slot of 5:35pm, we're focusing on the all-Premier League tie between Aston Villa and Tottenham.

Villa will be hoping their impressive January transfer window will inject more energy into the club with Unai Emery's side juggling domestic and Champions League football.

Latest loan signing, defender Axel Disasi is cup-tied. But the new attacking arrivals of Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio should play a part and contribute to a potential goal-laden match.

Tottenham played their EFL Cup semi-final against Liverpool on Thursday and they could be there for the taking at Villa Park.

Villa have lost just once at home in the league this season while Spurs have won just four of their 12 away games so it's hard to see anything but a win for Emery's men.

We're adding in over 1.5 goals as Spurs' games average 3.5 goals, while Villa's tally is three.
