Ted's Treble: Three racing picks for Tuesday's action

Fresh from a brace of weekend winners, Ed Quigley is back with his best bets for Tuesday's action.

Only the three runners are due to go to post, but this is a belter. Kingston Pride looks an exciting type, and Grade 2 winning Hurdler Jet To Vegas could easily make up into a very smart Chaser. However, Tripoli Flyer was a classy operator on his best form last season, and if he can translate his hurdling ability to fences then he will take some stopping here.

The key to him appears to be going right-handed, so this should be spot-on for him. On a left-handed track he didn't look quite the same horse last season, so if he sticks to his ideal scenario, then he can end up being more than useful over fences.

Fergal O'Brien has his string in fine fettle at present and a bold show with Jonathan Burke in the saddle.

Exeter - 4.00 Cinnodin

The Jamie Snowden team have had a stunning October, operating at around a 45% strike-rate, and can enhance that record here with the lightly-raced CINNODIN. The five-year-old makes his Handicap debut off a mark of 100, which could underestimate his potential, especially with the gelding stepping up in distance.

Over an extended 2m4f at Southwell at the start of the month he finished second, but looked to be in top gear all the way around, having been niggled along from some way out. He did rally all the way to the line though, and looking in need of a big step up distance where his stamina could come into play.

He gets the chance to show his mettle here, and with the yard in such rude health, I think he could easily kick on. Gavi Sheehan takes the ride, and this combination looks to have a cracking chance of defying top-weight in this Class 5 event.

Perth - 4.10 Ailt An Chorrain

Patrick Neville trains AILT AN CHORRAIN , who looks an each-way player with former Champion jockey winner Brian Hughes taking the ride. The yard has been having a productive spell with such a small number of runners, and if this six-year-old can bring his best form to the table, then he will definitely be in the shake-up.

He showed some smart form last season, winning twice, and chasing home the classy Wendigo on another occasion. The gelding has a good record and has winning form at the track, so if fully revved up for this, he is more than capable of running a big race.

This encounter has quite a wide-open feel to it, and I think this son of Mahler can easily get involved at the business end of proceedings.
