It's Wednesday, and Ed Quigley is back with his best bets for Thursday's busy afternoon of action.

Fontwell - 2.45 Dunskay

5/2 - William Hill

The tongue-tie goes on for the first time with DUNSKAY, who looks a well-handicapped type who will be hoping that his struggles with his wind issues are behind him. He goes handicapping for the first time as he makes his chase debut, and this looks a golden opportunity to kick on.

This is not a strong race, and doesn't have a great deal of strength and depth, so connections will be hoping that this race is there for the taking. The same jockey/trainer combination won this race 12 months ago, so you would imagine that they have had this race in mind for some time.

If any rain arrives that shouldn't be an issue, as based on this horse's bumper form, he would welcome softer ground. In this grade he can stamp his authority and is the one I am looking forward to the most.

Ludlow - 4.07 Sunjoy

6/1 - Coral

SUNJOY has been a little frustrating in recent times in what has been a bit of a stop-start career, but the handicapper is giving the representative of Ben Pauling - who I caught up with earlier this week - a chance to show his best form.

He's now off a career-low mark of 99, so considering he was rated 114 at his peak, the Pauling team will be hoping they can make this ease in demands from the accessor start to tell.

His best form has come on right-handed tracks, and with Callum Pritchard claiming 5lb, I would be far from shocked if a bold show was in store. Down into a Class 5, he looks to have very strong claims with trip, track and ground to suit.

Fontwell - 4.15 Of Corse I Can

7/4 - Ladbrokes

This horse has been in scintillating form, arriving on a hat-trick, and can strike again for the Neil Mullholland team. He is really enjoying life over fences and looks to have everything in place for another big run.

It was a convincing performance at Newton Abbot last time out, but before that, he produced another good display to win over course and distance.

It appears that the application of cheek pieces and the transition to fences have galvanised this individual, who will be seeking more success here. Of Corse I Can clearly has plenty of stamina in the locker, and can utilise that again here with conditions to suit.

Bradley Harris is in the saddle claiming 3lb, and this combination looks to have a wonderful chance of enhancing the winning thread once again.
