Ed Quigley tipped 10/3 winner Do No Wrong on Tuesday, and is back with his best bets for Thursday's action at Uttoxeter...

Roger Pol - 2.30 Uttoxeter

Jamie Snowden has his string in fine fettle at present, operating at around a 30% strike-rate for the last fortnight, and the 7-year-old ROGER POL looks more than capable of landing a blow in the Handicap Hurdle over 2m7f.

Although winning a minor event over fences, he didn't look a natural over the larger obstacles, and his jumping rather fell apart when last seen at Kempton.

Back over Hurdles off a mark of 117, he is definitely a major player here - but the salient point is his ability to go well fresh.

Roger Pol has an excellent record off the back of a break as the stats would suggest. When reappearing after a 100-day layoff or more, his form figures read 121 - so the Snowden team clearly can get this sort firing on the back of a break.

Top pilot Gavin Sheehan, who is riding at the top of his game, is in the saddle, and this combination looks a force in this assignment.

Harrys Hope - 3.00 Uttoxeter

We have Mares' Handicap Chase action here, and this can go the way of the Ben Pauling trained HARRYS HOPE who switches back to fences.

The seven-year-old racked up a hat trick of wins on a sound surface over the larger obstacles last autumn, and then struggled as soft ground and a busy schedule caught up with her.

She returned after a break, when running a blinder over Hurdles at Warwick last month, travelling very strongly for a long way before tiring in the latter stages to finish second.

Fitness-wise, that run should have her spot-on for this as she now reverts back to fences. It's also worth noting that the form of the Warwick defeat is working out well, as her conqueror has gone on to win again since.

Ben Jones is in the saddle for the Pauling team who are starting to hit a bit of form after a quiet April and early May. Trip, track and ground should suit and a big run can be expected off a mark of 105.

Do Your Job - 4.00 Uttoxeter

Father time is possibly starting to catch up with the veteran DO YOUR JOB, but this isn't the deepest of races and as a horse who has always had a touch of class, it wouldn't be a surprise if he showed up well.

With career wins at Wetherby, Ayr, Newcastle, Warwick and Ffos Las he is a horse who has always operated well on a flat-left handed track and is versatile in regards to underfoot conditions, so should be well suited by the demands of this race.

In recent times he has looked most effective when bowling along at the head of affairs, and so if Lily Pinchin can get the 11-year-old on a roll at the head of affairs he could take some pegging back.

Off a mark of 116 he looks feasibly treated and can pose some questions of this small field here for the Charlie Longsdon team.

Don't forget Ed will be back on Saturday as he concentrates on one of the big days of the Racing Calendar - Epsom Derby Day!
