Online lottery brand Lottoland and iGaming software provider Greco have secured a partnership. The deal, which was announced 9 January, sees Lottoland integrate Greco’s innovative 'Gameplay Risk Engine'.
The tool will allow Lottoland to enhance player management, minimise risk and optimise operational efficiency across its platforms.

The engine uses advanced theoretical value modelling and behavioural risk analysis to provide users with critical insights. Thus, allowing them to enhance their marketing strategies, reduce costs and optimise operational efficiency across its platform.
Mike Kirwan, Lottoland’s VP of Marketing & Commercial, commented: “At Lottoland, innovation is at the heart of everything we do. Partnering with Greco aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver world-class experiences to our customers. Greco’s unique Gameplay Risk Engine will assess player behaviours, ensuring a secure and seamless experience for all of our worldwide customers.”
Ozric Vondervelden, co-founder and CEO of Greco, added: “We’re thrilled to welcome Lottoland as a partner. Their commitment to innovation and player-centric operations aligns closely with our values. With our Gameplay Risk Engine, Lottoland is well-equipped to enhance efficiency and reinforce its position as a global leader in the online lottery space.”
This news comes just two months after Lottoland, who operates in 15 markets and were founded in 2013, announced they had 20 million customers worldwide. A remarkable number when you consider that in 2019, the company had 10 million.
In that statement, it showed the remarkable growth for a company that aims to be a market-leader in the online-lottery market.
To add to all this, recently Lottoland bought Australian company KenoGO, home to the world’s largest Keno Jackpot.
They also hold the Guinness World Record for providing the largest online gambling pay-out in history. In June 2018, it paid one lucky German winner over approximately £75m for winning one of its biggest jackpot totals. Stats that further show the ambitions of this Gibraltar-based company.
When speaking recently about the progress of Lottoland, CEO Nigel Birrell stated: “Since the very beginning, we have always strived to be a driving force in the gaming industry and navigate new ways of disrupting the market.
“We have lots planned to keep innovating in the market and bringing exciting new things for our customers – all 20 million of them.”
For Greco, this is not their first venture into the iGaming market. The company announced last month that they have also partnered with Bad Hombre Gaming. The crypto-first casino platform can also use the software that can ‘create significant value for its partners in enhancing their platform, improving the players’ experiences and achieving their operational goals.’
Greco have also partnered with a number of other global iGaming platforms recently including: NetBet, Hollywoodbets, M88 Mansion, Betsson and many more.
