Yggdrasil expands UK presence with Rank Group backing

Malta-based games provider Yggdrasil have announced a partnership with one of the UK’s biggest casino operators, Rank Group, to deliver their slots portfolio to a wider audience in the UK.

This agreement will provide a greater level of access to Yggdrasil’s games and slots, now accessible and available across Rank Group’s major brands, such as Grosvenor Casinos and Mecca Bingo.

Rank Group’s UK customers can now access Yggdrasil’s exciting array of their latest releases including Max Elements Gigabox and Trickstar Spins; as well as well-known staple titles such as Valley of the Dead, Golden Fish Tank and the popular Vikings series.

And it’s not just their own portfolio that they are bringing to the table, Yggdrasil are also offering content from its YGG Masters studio programme to Rank’s roster too! This will include the likes of King Power and Shark Bait which will now reach a broader and more varied player base - opening up bigger opportunities for the provider.

Jose Simon, chief commercial officer at Yggdrasil discussed the strategic importance of the deal: “In any market, large or small, success is often influenced by the partners you choose to collaborate with. The Rank Group offers us an incredible opportunity to grow our market share in a competitive jurisdiction with a leading operator, and we couldn’t be more pleased with this partnership.”

This forms part of the supplier’s expansion plans in 2025 which has also seen deals being made to receive a B2B gaming licence from the Dutch Gaming Authority and exclusive USA and Ontario rights in Canada.
