As BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing comes to the end of its 20th season, the final four have now been revealed; with one standout beating the odds by a landslide compared to their competitors.

This weekend we saw TOWIE star Pete Wicks and his dancing partner Jowita Przysta get eliminated; leaving the final four remaining.

Wicks was eliminated via a dance-off against Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and her dancing partner Aljaz Skorjanec.

The four celebrity dancers remaining, and their partners, are: Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell, Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola, JB Gill and Lauren Oakley, as well as Ghouri and Skorjanec.

So far, bet365 predicts that comedian Chris McCausland is the front-runner to win with odds of 1/12, coming in second is JLS singer JB Gill with odds of 12/1 to win, in third place is Miranda-star Sarah Hadland 20/1 and least likely to win the final - according to bet365’s odds - is reality TV star Tasha Ghouri, with odds of 33/1.

McCausland is Strictly’s first blind competitor and he is blind due to retinitis pigmentosa, which is a group of rare eye conditions that affect the retina. Not only is this a Strictly first, but it was also a first for his dancing partner, Buswell, who had to accustom to the new Strictly curveball.

With the odds being heavily in McCausland’s favour it appears that the new owner of the glitterball trophy has already been chosen, but anything can happen in showbiz!

The final will be aired on BBC1 at 7:00pm on Saturday, 14 December 2024.
