Ranking in at number one, with talkSPORT BET is Gavin & Stacey, with odds of 1/20. The popular British TV comedy is back with a Christmas special this year, named ‘The Finale’. The Finale will be available to stream at 9pm on BBC One, on Christmas Day.

At number two, we have the King’s Speech at 8/1. Previous years (2023, 2022) have seen the King’s speech rank number one in terms of views, so it will be interesting to see if 'Welsh royalty' dethrone the English royals and take the TV crown this Christmas Day. You can tune into the speech on Christmas Day at 3pm via BBC One, ITV and Sky News.

A Christmas classic, Wallace & Gromit come in at number three at 10/1 with their 2024 Christmas special, ‘Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl’. The film is being broadcast on BBC One at 6:10pm on Christmas Day and will be available internationally on Netflix from 3 January 2025.

The Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special has odds of 16/1 on becoming the most-watched TV in the UK on Christmas Day. Earlier in the month, Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell took home the Glitterball trophy for 2024, but now we will find out who our Christmas ballroom champion will be! You can catch this episode at 3:55pm on BBC One.

Meanwhile, Doctor Who is fifth in the list, of most likely to be the most-watched TV show in the UK on Christmas Day, with odds of 30/1. The hour-long Christmas special will see the 15th doctor team up with Bridgerton and Derry Girls star, Nicola Coughlan, as they discover dinosaurs.

Who will steal the show? Welsh royalty? English royalty? Clay action figures? Dancers? Or the time-travelling nomad discovering dinosaurs? Only one can sleigh the 2024 record!
