FA Cup 2025 odds: Man City are clear favourites to lift the FA Cup at 11/10

Manchester City may have had a poor season by their high standards, but the bookies at least fancy them to lift some silverware this season.
The Citizens are 11/10 favourites - via Ladbrokes - to lift the trophy on 17 May, ahead of second favourites Aston Villa, who are currently priced at 11/4.

However, City’s inconsistent season means that even 4/1 Crystal Palace and 5/1 Nottingham Forest will fancy their chances of taking home the trophy.
City have dominated the Premier League in recent years, having won the last four and six of the last seven, finishing second to Liverpool in the 2019/20 season.
Their performance in the FA Cup hasn’t been quite as dominant. Losing in the final to bitter rivals Manchester United in 2024, they last picked up the cup in 2022/23 and, before that, in 2018/2019.
This season has proven more challenging for them. Liverpool look all but certain to win the Premier League with City back in fifth position, trailing by 22 points.
Previously unseen inconsistency has crept into their performances with their last five league games resulting in two wins, two losses and a draw.
As such, despite triumphing over fellow Premier League club Bournemouth on Sunday, City are only priced at 11/10. They are favourites to win the cup but at longer odds than many might expect.
If City’s inconsistency does creep into their game again, Villa are, in the eyes of the bookies, the most likely to snatch the cup from them, priced at 11/4.
Villa currently sit ninth in the Premier League but put on a dominant display in dispatching Preston to progress at the weekend. They won 3-0 with the main talking point of the match being resurgent Marcus Rashford’s brace.
The Villans are seven-time FA Cup winners but have only featured in the final twice, in 2000 and 2015, since they last won the competition in 1957.
Crystal Palace are priced at 4/1. The Eagles showed some clinical finishing, scoring three of their six shots on target to dispatch Fulham 3-0 in Saturday’s match.
Palace have never won the FA Cup, having lost to Manchester United in the final twice. Palace are on-form at the moment, having won their last five in all competitions.
Nottingham Forest have been the surprise package in the Premier League this year. They’re two positions ahead of City but have been given odds of 5/1, making them the outsiders.
Although they did labour to victory over Brighton in the last round, relying on penalties after a goalless 120 minutes of open football, on season performance alone, they look the value bet.
Forest have won the cup twice, in 1898 and 1959. Most recently, they were beaten in the 1991 final by Tottenham.
Forest’s odds are likely longer than expected because they face City in one of the semi-finals, with Palace facing off against Villa. Here are the odds for the final four teams left in the competition:
