PA Media Group rebrands to Podium

By Charlie Dear

PA Media Group announced this week that it is rebranding its sports data business, PA Betting Services (PABS), to the more streamlined ‘Podium’ to pioneer a new wave of innovation and meet the industry’s evolving demands.

For over 40 years, the business has been synonymous with trust and innovation in the racing and betting sector. Customers in the past include Flutter, Entain, Evoke, bet365 and RMG as well as many other global rights-holders and sportsbooks offering sports data, content and proprietary technology.

The firm states that this new visual identity shows that Podium’s dedication to delivering reliable, real-time data to the sports and betting industry is stronger than ever.

According to the company, the rebrand to Podium reflects their vision to enhance its global coverage with a unified distribution platform. This latest move follows successfully completing the acquisition of iRace Media in 2023 and their partnership with Timeform which aligns with the firm’s broader strategy of driving international growth in the racing and betting sector.

Gareth Brammall, chief strategy officer at PA Media Group, said: “The rebrand to Podium marks an exciting milestone for this business and the group as a whole and reflects our unwavering commitment to growth, innovation, and excellence.

“This is more than just a name change — it is a signal of our intention to lead the way in sports betting data solutions.

“By unifying our sports data services under one identity, we are making it easier for customers to access essential core data and cutting-edge tools that enhance their business performance. As we expand into new markets, Podium is positioned to deliver faster, more accurate, and comprehensive coverage than ever before. We are incredibly proud of what this rebrand represents for our customers, partners, and the industry.”
