BetGoodwin started life as a renowned telephone betting operator. But now, through their striking new website and app, they are looking to challenge the established big names in UK online sports betting and their site and offers may be particularly appealing to horse racing bettors.

What is BetGoodwin all about?
Bonuses
Betgoodwin is renowned for its range of offers, and during our review of Betgoodwin.co.uk’s promotions page, there was plenty for us to get our teeth into.
In addition to the new customer offer of 50% back as a free bet up to £25, there were a host of other offers, including a free £5 bet when you place a £10+ create-a-bet on a televised Premier League game and acca insurance that pays up to £25 in free bets if one leg lets your sports (non-racing) acca down.
Betgoodwin also offers 'best odds guaranteed' across all UK and Irish horse racing and greyhound racing. Plus, a host of permanent offers across horse racing that include free bets if your horse gets beaten by a nose, loses by half a length in a chase or falls at the final hurdle while leading.
Available sports
Betgoodwin boasts a huge range of betting markets, including several Nordic sports we haven’t seen listed on the other sites we’ve reviewed. They include biathlon, cross-country skiing and ski jumping. The mainstream sports and markets are all covered comprehensively, as you’d expect, with their horse racing enhanced by the various offers, many permanent, that give you a little extra leeway if your horse narrowly loses out.
User experience and interface
Betgoodwin’s striking dark colourway and yellow accents ensure their website and app both have great-looking interfaces. And odds and markets are easy to find. We particularly liked the ability to tap on a star next to our chosen sport to ‘favourite’ it and pin it to the top of the sports list. For someone who enjoys betting on tennis as much as they do on American football, that’ll save your fingers and thumbs a fair amount of scrolling.
Mobile and app compatibility
The Betgoodwin app offers the odds and markets you want in a relatively easy-to-use package, but during our review of the app, we encountered issues when attempting to register an account.
Firstly, we weren’t able to progress past the initial personal details page without providing our occupation and annual salary, neither of which are required for a UK betting account. And, when it came to depositing funds, a glitch in the app meant we had to go back to the screen and try a second time before we could select a deposit method.
The data screens may have been clunky, but the bet placement worked much more in line with our expectations. The app has had precious few reviews and ratings on the two main app stores, with a modest 3.7 on Apple’s App Store and a below-par 2.2 on the Google Play store. But in both cases, they’ve had less than 20 reviews/ratings.
App Store: 3.7/5 stars (16 ratings)
Google Play: 2.2/5 stars (16 reviews)
VIP programmes and loyalty rewards
At the time of our review, there was no loyalty or VIP programme available at Betgoodwin.

Payment methods
During our review of Betgoodwin, the only payment method made available to us during the account creation process was to use a debit card. We could not find any alternative options for some of the other oft-used methods like PayPal, Neteller or Skrill. The minimum deposit and withdrawal was £10, which is higher than some of Betgoodwin’s rivals, which offer £5 deposits/withdrawals.
Security and fairness
Betgoodwin is affiliated with the Independent Betting Adjudication Service, IBAS, for impartial dispute resolution issues.
Responsible gambling measures
Betgoodwin offers a range of responsible gambling measures, including deposit limits, time outs, self-exclusion options, self-assessment and information about gambling blocking software. Betgoodwin also provides links to a host of organisations that help people with problem gambling, including GAMSTOP, GamCare, GambleAware
