    What are BetWright all about?

    Bonuses

After searching the BetWright website for some time and clicking on other rewards programmes they have available, I couldn’t find a welcome bonus for new customers unfortunately.

BetWright does offer a rewards programme called 'Bangers 'N' Cash'. This review is being written in July so we can only assume it’s a special linked to the summer and barbecues. However, I didn’t expect to see hot dogs and sausages on a sportsbook website!

You opt in and stack multiple 'bangers'. You can go for the full banger or cash it in early to receive your rewards.

One of the 'bangers' promotions sees customers earn £1 in free bets for every £10 staked at minimum odds of evens (2.0). The maximum reward is £10 which is a fairly good offer if you're planning to stake that much anyway.

Another offer will earn you 10p in free bets for every £10 staked with a maximum reward of £40. Therefore, you'd have to bet £50 to earn 50p in free bets which is a pretty dismal promotion compared to what you can find elsewhere.

    Available sports

BetWright has a decent range of sports and markets available. All of the main sports including football, horse racing, golf and cricket are covered while there are also markets for more niche sports including Gaelic sports and ice hockey.

In terms of football coverage, there are a brilliant amount of markets available for bettors. There are the usual team markets and the player markets include player shots, shots on target and fouls.

You can combine your selections into a bet builder, however, it’s worth noting that cash out isn’t available on bet builders which is a flaw.

If you’re into horse racing but it’s hard to fully recommend BetWright due to the lack of markets. They have all the main meeting and races covered, however, the only markets available are race winner, forecasts and tricasts.

BetWright’s in-play options are solid. They have a dedicated in-play tab and sub headings for live events in numerous sports including football, tennis, basketball and cricket. There are also statistics and graphics available to give punters a helping hand.

If you’re an esports fan and like to bet on it, BetWright might not be for you as they don’t offer any markets.

I also dived into their American sports sections including the NBA and NFL. They have a solid amount of markets available but unfortunately you can’t combine them into a bet builder, which may be a turn off for bettors.

    User experience and interface

The user experience on BetWright is solid. There are plenty of graphics at the top of the site to catch your eye and links to upcoming major events partnered with odds.

Below the carousel you'll find links to sections for different sports including football, tennis, horse racing and cricket.

Next up is the BetWright boosts for big events. When going on the site on a Friday afternoon, the section was called 'Friday Night Football Boosts'.

Below that you'll find a horse racing section then their in-play odds and markets. Overall, the site is slick enough and simple to use for new and experienced punters.

    Mobile and app compatibility

BetWright’s desktop and mobile sites are virtually identical. The only slight difference is that the desktop has their A-Z of sports on the left hand side while on mobile you have to click a drop-down menu to access the list.

Both versions of the site are easy on the eye with a grey, blue and yellow colour scheme. It’s easy to understand and the graphics are slick.

The BetWright app, which has the exact same layout as their site, has an average rating of 3.6/5 (9 reviews) on the Apple App Store.

    VIP programmes and loyalty rewards

BetWright’s 'Bangers 'N' Cash' rewards scheme sees punters earn free bets when they stake a specific amount.

There are different variations depending on how much you’re planning to stake. The offer that earns you £1 in free bets for £10 staked is solid but the promotion of earning 10p in free bets for every £10 staked isn’t great.

    Diving deeper into BetWright

    Licensing

BetWright is owned by UK-based company Onyx Gaming Ltd. They are regulated by the British Gambling Commission and they’re also covered by IBAS (Independent Betting Adjudication Service).

    Payment methods

BetWright’s deposit and withdrawal options are fairly limited compared to other bookmakers. You can deposit money into your account using Visa, Mastercard and Maestro. The minimum deposit is £10 for all methods. You can’t deposit money into your betting account with a credit card.

Their withdrawal options are the same and the minimum withdrawal is £10. BetWright also says 95 per cent of withdrawals are completed within 30 seconds.

    Security and fairness

At the bottom of the BetWright homepage, there is a ‘Contact Us’ section which gives their email address as well as their X and Facebook accounts.

There’s also a live chat option which gives you their customer support options. The live chat is automated at first but you’ll get a member of staff if you’re contacting them in business hours. There is also a FAQs section.

BetWright also claims to keep your data and information safe by using secure servers.

    Responsible gambling measures

BetWright’s responsible gambling information can be found under their 'Safer Gambling' tab at the bottom of their homepage.

There you will find tools available including deposit limits, loss limits, reality checks, time-outs, self-exclusion and a budget calculator.

At the bottom of their site they also have links to the likes of GamStop, BeGambleAware and the Gambling Commission.
