SportsBroker bookmaker review
- Bet £10
- Get £30
- Pool betting presents unique way of betting
- Excellent welcome offer
- Betting against other punters not the house
By Simon Head
SportsBroker offers a different take on sports betting, with your bets going up against other people, rather than against odds set by a bookmaker. It’s a completely different way to bet on sports, and it won’t be for everyone. But, for people looking for an alternative way to bet, they offer a well-presented, smart platform to do just that.

What is SportsBroker all about?
Bonuses
SportsBroker has kept it simple with one catch-all bonus for new customers. Place a single £10 bet and they’ll give you an additional £30 in free bets as a welcome bonus.
Available sports
At the time of our review, only football, NFL and rugby union were available, but the sports shown are based on the immediate upcoming fixtures, so this list may chop and change, depending on the time of the week and when in the year you’re looking to bet.
User experience and interface
SportsBroker’s site is heavily mobile-first, to the point that it doesn’t have a fully-fledged desktop site option. Instead, it simply loads the mobile version of the site in a small frame in the middle of a browser window. However, for those using SportsBroker on a mobile device, the site is excellent to use. Compared to a typical sports betting website, SportsBroker’s site is refreshingly simple and clutter-free. That’s down to the relative lack of options, markets and sports available. Once you have an understanding of how pool betting works, everything on SportsBroker all looks pretty simple and straightforward. There’s no sports list like you’d find on most sports sites. Instead, events are listed chronologically, which, given the reduced amount of games/events listed, actually works pretty well.
Mobile and app compatibility
It’s the same story with the app, which is very smart in appearance and incredibly easy to use. You won’t get overwhelmed with information or options, due to the relative simplicity of pool betting. There is a sport selector across the top of the app, so you can toggle between the different sports on offer – when we tested the app only three sports were available: football, NFL and rugby union. The app is relatively new to the market, so hasn’t had a lot of ratings and reviews so far, but the ones it has had have been overwhelmingly positive, with ratings of 4.6 and 4.2 on the App Store and Google Play Store, respectively.
App Store: 4.6/5 stars (10 ratings)
Google Play: 4.2/5 stars (177 reviews)
VIP programmes and loyalty rewards
SportsBroker did not offer a VIP programme or loyalty rewards programme at the time of our review.
