Swanky Bingo relaunched its casino in 2020 after Jumpman Gaming took control. However, this Gambling Commission-licensed site has been around since 2016.

Although bingo is on the menu, it’s primarily an online casino. You’ll find more than 1,000 slots, dozens of table games, scratch cards and a full live casino.

What is Swanky Bingo all about?

Despite the site’s name, online bingo isn’t the sole focus here. There are ten rooms, offering 30, 75, 80 and 90-ball bingo – but first and foremost, Swanky Bingo is very obviously an online casino.

The platform is unmistakably that of Jumpman Gaming, a well-known operator with a license from the UK Gambling Commission. Pretty much all of their 120+ sites look the same – quite basic and clearly designed for mobile use.

Swanky Bingo is ideal for low-stakes players that favour online slots and instant win games, such as scratch cards.

    Bonuses

Honestly, I was disappointed with the Swanky Bingo casino welcome bonus. “Up to 500 free spins” sounds great, but your reward is chosen randomly.

It’s not like there’s more free spins up for grabs if you make a larger deposit – you have no control over the outcome. In reality, you end up with far fewer than 500 free spins, or an Amazon gift voucher at best.

On top of that, there’s an abnormally high wagering requirement of 65x on any free spins winnings. That’s just unreasonable. SLots52 is also a Jumpman Gaming site, and it requires just 35x.

Welcome bonus aside, Swanky Bingo does provide a lot of ongoing rewards for its regulars:

    • Daily Spins Wheel. Check in daily for a chance to win free spins. Your reward is random, but the wheel segments are personally tailored.
    • Weekly Free Spins. Win 50+ free spins by playing selected slots during the specified times, on designated days.
    • Drops & Wins. The usual Pragmatic Play promotion, with £2,000,000 awarded every month.
    • Cash Giveaways. Play selected slots to win entries to the raffle. £500 cash prizes were on offer at the time of writing this review.

    Available games

It’s not easy to see how many games are in the Swanky Bingo library, due to a fairly basic layout. You’re limited to just six top-level categories, like “Slots”, “Live” and “Popular” and you can’t even display all games in a single, scrollable list.

I manually counted a little over 1,000 slots, which includes 191 Megaways games. The providers are some of the best in the business, offering plenty of all-time classics. Starburst, Gonzo’s Quest and Book Of Dead are just a few examples.

Other products include 67 Slingo titles, around 20 scratch cards and several crash games, including Big Bass Crash, but not Aviator.

The live casino, powered by Playtech, Pragmatic Play and OnAir Entertainment, is also well stocked.

Again, it’s not easy to find your way around, with just two categories displayed – roulette and blackjack. However, if you dig around, you’ll uncover many more table games and dozens of engaging game shows.

    User experience and interface

I’ve had my grumble about the lack of filters and categories in the lobby, but it’s worth repeating. You wouldn’t even realise a lot of games were present, due to the sub-par layout.

To reveal them, you must blindly type keywords into the search bar and hope they appear. It wouldn’t even need a huge platform overhaul to improve things – just add a few categories – so it’s a bit frustrating.

That aside, there are a few other minor gripes, like the confusing horizontal navigation bar.

If you click “Bonuses”, you don’t see a list of the site’s ongoing promotions. Instead, you get a message telling you there are “no free spins active right now”. You need the “Offers” button for the site’s bonuses and promotions.

There’s also “Daily Wheel” – head there to see your personally-tailored daily offer. I’m not sure why so many different bonus pages are necessary.

    Mobile and app compatibility

Swanky Bingo doesn’t offer an app, but you don’t need one. Whether you’re on an iOS or Android device, just visit the responsive website in your browser.

Log into your account with the same credentials as you would on desktop. All of the same features, bonuses and games are available across both platforms.

Even though the layout is basically the same, the mobile site actually looks much nicer than its desktop counterpart.

    VIP programmes and loyalty rewards

The “Trophies” system at Swanky Bingo is basically a loyalty program. You don’t earn reward points for depositing or playing games, but for completing preset tasks.

Examples include winning £50 from a single spin, trying 15 different slots in a week or playing 20 days in a month.

Your reward for each accomplishment is a number of trophies. The more you collect, the higher you’ll rise through six ranks. Every time you reach a new level, you may spin the Mega Wheel and collect free spins.

    Diving deeper into Swanky Bingo

    Licencing

Swanky Bingo operates under the UK Gambling Commission license (039175-R-319452-024) of Jumpman Gaming.

This experienced operator has run online casinos for more than 15 years. It currently has over 100 brands under its umbrella, including Amazon Slots, Win British and Slots52.

    Payment methods

The choice of deposit and withdrawal options is very good. You’ll see the usual debit cards and e-wallets, plus an option to pay by mobile phone.

Transactions are fast in either direction. As you’d expect, deposits are instant – the minimum amount is just £10 for most options. But payouts are very quick too.

I withdrew using Neteller and it took less than four hours to get approval. Once released, the funds hit my account instantly.

Your first payout takes longer than usual, due to KYC checks – it might require up to 72 hours to review your documents.

The minimum withdrawal limit is also £10, but there’s a £2.50 charge. This applies regardless of the payment method used or amount requested.

    Software providers

Like counting the number of games, it’s not easy to see exactly which providers power the Swanky Bingo casino. There’s no way to filter by provider, or even view a list of them.

I’m aware of at least 20 suppliers though, documented at the top of this review. Top developers like Play’n GO, Netent and Nolimit City provide their flagship slots, while Playtech and Pragmatic Play are the most notable live casino providers.

    Security and fairness

As Swanky Bingo is licensed by the Gambling Commission, you’re assured a safe and secure experience.

The identity checks are strict, so you’re unlikely to experience fraud. But this also helps keep players out that might be self-excluded or under 18.

What’s more, the site is secured by 128-bit SSL encryption, helping protect your bank details and other sensitive data. Swanky Bingo only partners with well-known international payment processors like Visa, Neteller and PayPal.

    Responsible gambling measures

There’s a strong selection of responsible gambling tools at Swanky Bingo, available from the “Safer Gaming” link in the main menu. These are:

    • Deposit limits: Apply daily, weekly or monthly limits from just £10.
    • Take a break: Temporarily limit your site access for 24 hours to 6 weeks.
    • Self-exclusion: Block access to all Jumpman Gaming sites for at least 6 months.

Swanky Bingo is also part of GAMSTOP, the UK’s nationwide self-exclusion program.

    FIRST rating: 4.0/5 stars

Swanky Bingo is a solid online casino, but nothing more. With a little over 1,000 slots, table games and other betting opportunities to choose from, there are definitely bigger alternatives.

It’s often hard to find what you want, as the navigation is somewhat lacking. If you know what you’re looking for, you’ll have to use the search bar. The slots come from the industry’s biggest names – the usual suspects are all present.

I was really happy with the payout speeds – I got a withdrawal in under four hours – though the £2.50 charge sullied that experience.

The welcome bonus is fairly tame, with very 65x strict wagering requirements. On the other hand, the choice of ongoing promotions for regulars is pretty good.

Overall, a rating of 4.0 out of 5 is fair – there’s a strong foundation at this legal and licensed casino, but there’s work to do.
