Monaco vs Aston Villa betting tips

Aston Villa lie seventh in the Champions League away table. However, two of the teams they beat on the road are among the three who have already been eliminated.

With a home game against Celtic to come, this isn’t necessarily a must-win game for Villa, with Monaco in need of the points to propel themselves into top eight contention.

Their home form is far from flawless, but they have the better underlying numbers in the competition so should win.

Scoreline prediction

Monaco 2-1 Aston Villa (149/20 with Mr.Play)

FIRST’s top tip:

Monaco win (131/100 with Zetbet)

Benfica vs Barcelona betting tips

This is a big game, in the sense that one club is currently inside the top eight and another within three points of it.

Barcelona have failed to score in their last three meetings with Benfica but that run should end here. Robert Lewandowski is the top scorer in the 2024/25 Champions League and is in decent form.

He has seven goals in the Champions League this season. Lewandowski could prove decisive.

Scoreline prediction

Benfica 1-2 Barcelona (15/2 with Spreadex)

FIRST’s top tip:

Robert Lewandowski to score any time (107/100 with Bet442)

Bologna vs Borussia Dortmund betting tips

Bologna are six points outside the top 24 with two games to go. It’s impossible to see how they can qualify.

Their performances do not suggest they can win this match either, with one goal and one point from their three matches at home.

Borussia Dortmund will be too strong. They won 3-0 at Club Brugge and Dinamo Zagreb, clubs that are comfortably above Bologna in the Champions League table.

Scoreline prediction

Bologna 0-2 Borussia Dortmund (9/1 with Monster)

FIRST’s top tip:

Borussia Dortmund to win (Evens with Luckster)

Liverpool vs Lille betting tips

Liverpool only need a point here. But even if Arne Slot rests a few stars, the Reds should overpower Lille, such is the quality in their squad.

They have won all three Champions League home games to nil this season. Lille, meanwhile, have the widest margin between expected and actual points, with the Ligue 1 side massively overperforming.

Lille will do their best to keep it tight. Liverpool should have too much though.

Scoreline prediction

Liverpool 2-0 Lille (38/5 with Matchbook)

FIRST’s top tip:

Liverpool win to nil (14/11 with Spinzwin)

Red Star Belgrade vs PSV Eindhoven betting tips

Belgrade has been the place for goals in the Champions League this season, with 16 across Red Star’s three home matches.

While it is unlikely they qualify for the knockout phase, the Serbian club must go for it here to keep their hopes alive. As PSV Eindhoven's final game is against Liverpool, this is vital for them too.

They won 5-2 at Utrecht last month and lost 3-1 at PEC Zwolle on Saturday so are accustomed to high-scoring games on the road.

Scoreline prediction

Red Star 1-3 PSV Eindhoven (21/2 with BetMGM)

FIRST’s top tip:

Over 3.5 goals (113/100 with Vegasland)

Shakhtar Donetsk vs Brest betting tips

Brest are the Champions League’s surprise package. They start the match week higher in the table in this competition than in Ligue 1.

They carry a consistent goal threat, having only failed to score against Barcelona. All three of their away matches in Europe have seen at least three goals in total.

The same can be said for Shakhtar Donetsk’s home games too. This should be an entertaining watch even if it doesn’t leap out of the fixture list as can’t-miss TV.

Scoreline prediction

Shakhtar Donetsk 1-2 Brest (163/20 with Bet442)

FIRST’s top tip:

Over 2.5 goals (43/50 with Zetbet)

Arsenal vs Dinamo Zagreb betting tips

Dinamo Zagreb’s first away game saw them lose 9-2 at Bayern Munich. While they have won twice against weak teams since, a heavy defeat lies in wait at the Emirates Stadium.

After all, their last domestic away game saw them lose 3-1 at NK Lokomotiva. Arsenal might not have been rattling in the goals lately but there has been no issue with creating chances in most games. This should be a stroll.

Scoreline prediction

Arsenal 4-0 Dinamo Zagreb (121/20 with Mr.Play)

FIRST’s top tip:

Arsenal win and over 3.5 goals (6/5 with Matchbook)

Celtic vs Young Boys betting tips

This is massive for Celtic. If they can beat the worst team in the competition, they will likely secure a spot in the knockout round.

Much will depend on how Young Boys approach this. Will they barely turn up, having already been eliminated, or will they play for pride, free from expectation?

Either way, they’ve scored in two of their three away games while Celtic have yet to keep a home clean sheet. Expect goals.

Scoreline prediction

Celtic 2-1 Young Boys (7/1 with Bet442)

FIRST’s top tip:

Celtic win and both teams to score (10/7 with Spinzwin)

Feyenoord vs Bayern Munich betting tips

Feyenoord are not expected to beat Bayern Munich, but a win would lift them above the Bundesliga giants.

What seems likelier than a home victory is a fast start. There have been 15 first half goals in Feyenoord’s Champions League matches this season, the joint most of any side, with three per game on their own patch.

With Bayern (11) not far behind for total goals in the opening 45 minutes, this should be lively from the first whistle.

Scoreline prediction

Feyenoord 1-3 Bayern Munich (33/4 with Vegasland)

FIRST’s top tip:

Over 1.5 first half goals (Evens with Spreadex)

PSG vs Manchester City betting tips

This would be the game of the round regardless, but the lowly standing of both teams makes it crucial. If Paris Saint-Germain lose, they could soon be out of the competition.

Fortunately for them, Manchester City have been poor on the road. They haven’t beaten a side that wasn’t in the Championship last season away from home since October.

PSG are so wasteful in front of goal that you can’t rely on them to win. City’s porous team will ensure they get chances, though, so the home side can get a vital victory.

Scoreline prediction

PSG 2-1 Manchester City (151/20 with Luckster)

FIRST’s top tip:

Draw no bet: PSG (10/13 with BetMGM)

Quick scoreline predictions:

Atalanta 3-0 Sturm Graz (11/2 with Luckster)

Atletico Madrid 1-1 Bayer Leverkusen (23/5 with BetMGM)

Club Brugge 1-2 Juventus (7/1 with Monster)

Slovan Bratislava 0-2 Stuttgart (39/5 with Matchbook)

RB Leipzig 0-1 Sporting (10/1 with Spreadex)

AC Milan 2-0 Girona (27/5 with Bet442)

Real Madrid 4-0 Red Bull Salzburg (28/5 with Zetbet)

Sparta Prague 0-2 Inter (11/2 with Mr.Play)
