Two of the three longest unbeaten runs in the Premier League could easily fall this weekend. Liverpool are 18 without defeat and travel to Bournemouth (11), while Arsenal (13) host Manchester City.
Matchweek 24 also features a west Midlands derby and two potential relegation ‘six-pointers’ with a pair of matches which pit four of the bottom five together.

Nottingham Forest vs Brighton betting tips
Both Nottingham Forest and Brighton are looking to bounce back from bad defeats. Whether losing to Everton is worse than being pumped 5-0 by Bournemouth is up to you.
Have Forest started regressing to the mean? Expected goal data suggests they’ve earned 12 points more than they deserve. They’ve also won just one game against a current top-half side.
As Brighton have two victories on the road against the top seven and are unbeaten in three meetings, they might recover from last week’s embarrassment here.
Scoreline prediction
Nottingham Forest 1-2 Brighton (54/5 with Matchbook)
FIRST’s top tip:
Draw no bet: Brighton (21/20 with BetMGM)
Bournemouth vs Liverpool betting tips
This is the acid test for Bournemouth’s credentials. Liverpool have won four of their last five league visits by at least three goals to nil.
It’s unlikely to be so one-sided but the Reds are valid favourites for the three points. The Cherries are intense in their pressing game and good at winning the ball high up the pitch, but so are Liverpool.
If they cancel each other out, the Reds’ greater quality should win out. There’ll be several goals too.
Scoreline prediction
Bournemouth 1-2 Liverpool (13/2 with Vegasland)
FIRST’s top tip:
Liverpool win and over 2.5 goals (11/10 with Mr.Play)
Everton vs Leicester betting tips
The team with the fewest Premier League matches paying out on over 2.5 goals this season hosts a side who has seen at least three goals in 10 of their 11 away matches. What’s going to give?
History suggests this will be low-scoring, as four of the previous six meetings saw no more than two goals.
Leicester’s away games have been truly chaotic, though. They have no clean sheets on the road, so with Everton finding a little form in front of goal, this should be lively.
Scoreline prediction
Everton 2-1 Leicester (13/2 with Zetbet)
FIRST’s top tip:
Over 2.5 goals (Evens with Spinzwin)
Ipswich vs Southampton betting tips
Ipswich won both meetings with Southampton in the Championship last season. While they needed a 95th minute goal to earn a point at St Mary’s in September, the Tractor Boys should win here too.
They have far more about them at Premier League level than the sorry Saints. Ipswich have only lost one of their five games against teams who start the weekend in the bottom six.
With Southampton taking just two points from their 12 away games, this must be a home win.
Scoreline prediction
Ipswich 2-1 Southampton (13/2 with Luckster)
FIRST’s top tip:
Ipswich win (9/10 with Bet442)
Newcastle vs Fulham betting tips
Prior to their 4-1 loss to Bournemouth, Newcastle had been on a good run at St James’ Park. Their three previous home league games were won to nil, against Leicester, Aston Villa and Wolves, with at least three goals scored each time.
This should be closer. At least one team, probably Fulham, failing to score remains likely. Only four of Newcastle’s 11 home league games have seen goals for both teams in 2024/25.
Scoreline prediction
Newcastle 2-0 Fulham (15/2 with Vegasland)
FIRST’s top tip:
Both teams to score: No (7/5 with Matchbook)
Wolves vs Aston Villa betting tips
Aston Villa won 3-1 when these teams last met. A similar outcome could well be on the cards.
Brentford are the Premier League masters of matches which see both teams score and at least three goals, having had this outcome in 16 of their games so far this season. Just behind them are a trio of teams on 14, two of whom are Wolves and Villa.
They each carry a goal threat and only have three clean sheets apiece. Molineux will see action at both ends.
Scoreline prediction
Wolves 1-2 Aston Villa (15/2 with Spreadex)
FIRST’s top tip:
Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals (83/100 with Mr.Play)
Brentford vs Tottenham betting tips
Making up the third leg of our weekly acca this weekend, Tottenham have won none of their last seven Premier League matches, with defeats in their last three on the road. They were also in Europa League action on Thursday night.
Everything suggests Brentford will beat Spurs at the Gtech Stadium for the first time. Key to their chances will be Yoane Wissa, who scored in this fixture last season.
He only netted twice in his last eight league games but had 24 shots worth over five expected goals. Wissa can get a goal against Tottenham’s leaky defence.
Scoreline prediction
Brentford 2-1 Tottenham (15/2 with BetMGM)
FIRST’s top tip:
Yoane Wissa to score (13/10 with Spreadex)
Manchester United vs Crystal Palace betting tips
What are Manchester United? On one hand, they have won several games recently, on the other they only had four shots at Fulham and needed very late goals to beat Southampton and Rangers.
Crystal Palace are erratic too. However, they are unbeaten on the road in seven league games, a run only Liverpool can top at the start of the weekend. As they are unbeaten in three against United, a positive result for the Eagles feels plausible.
Scoreline prediction
Manchester United 1-1 Crystal Palace (26/5 with Spinzwin)
FIRST’s top tip:
Double chance: Crystal Palace (31/47 with Luckster)
Arsenal vs Manchester City betting tips
Every match is huge for Arsenal. They may have a chance to make ground on Liverpool, but anything less than a win won't do in their pursuit of Arne Slot’s side.
They will rarely get a better opportunity to secure a win over Manchester City. The defending champions have been dismal on the road against decent teams for months, only winning at Leicester and Ipswich since October.
The data says Arsenal stand a reasonable chance of winning by at least two goals but let’s not go mad. Any victory will do.
Scoreline prediction
Arsenal 2-1 Manchester City (43/5 with Matchbook)
FIRST’s top tip:
Arsenal win (Evens with Zetbet)
Chelsea vs West Ham betting tips
Chelsea’s league games have featured at least six goals more often than any other team in the top flight this term. West Ham are joint-second for those with five-plus.
And while the previous meeting ended 3-0 to the Blues in east London, last season’s clash at Stamford Bridge ended 5-0.
It’s been goals galore in Chelsea games recently, with at least four in their previous four games in all competitions. This could be a cracker.
Scoreline prediction
Chelsea 3-1 West Ham (8/1 with Bet442)
FIRST’s top tip:
Over 3.5 goals (Evens with Matchbook)
Odds correct at the time of writing.
