Brighton - 3.00 Revolutionise - 9/2 (Betfred)

There are only 5 due to go to post in this one, where a case can be made for all of the runners. REVOLUTIONISE has been in the doldrums in recent times, but with the Stuart Williams team in outrageously good form at the moment, this could be the time for a bounce-back from the nine-year-old campaigner.

You have to go back to November for the last time this individual was in the winner's enclosure, and on the basis of that form he is starting to look well handicapped. It is worth noting that his last win on turf was at this track - his only previous visit start over course and distance, which was a successful one.

With the aforementioned Williams yard operating at nearly a 40% strike-rate for the last fortnight, a revival could easily be on the cards. Marco Ghiani - who himself has been amongst the winners lately is in the saddle - and this combination can cause a minor upset with conditions to suit.

Brighton - 4.00 Banksman - 11/10 (Coral)

BANKSMAN is in terrific form at the moment, notching back-to-back wins in recent times, and can complete the hat-trick, returning to Handicap company. This progressive three-year-old won with plenty of authority at Lingfield on the turf three days ago, where fast underfoot conditions appeared to really suit him.

As the only three-year-old in the lineup, he is the most unexposed and open to improvement, having had just eight career starts. He's coming out of Classified company to tackle this requires a bit more, but this gelding is clearly thriving and looks more than capable of getting the job done under a penalty.

Edward Greatrex is in the saddle for the Jack Channon team who are on fire at the moment, operating at a 35% strike-rate for the last couple of weeks. Everything looks set in place for a big performance here, and Banksman can prove tough to beat with just the three rivals in opposition.

Newton Abbot - 6.57 Kill The Groove - 13/2 (Ladbrokes)

KILL THE GROOVE represents the combination of Ben Pauling and Ben Jones, and this lightly-raced mare is one to take seriously in the Novices' Hurdle over an extended 2m5f.

She showed improved Bumper form on her third start, when finishing in the bronze medal position, where it appeared that the wind operation she had undergone, combined with a first-time tongue tie had made a difference. She then followed that up with a nice performance on her hurdling bow at Market Rasen earlier this month, where despite being weak in the market she ran a solid race, staying on over 2m2f to grab third.

The visual perspective gives the impression that an extra three furlongs here will be tailor-made for her, and with plenty of stamina in her pedigree, the step up in distance looks a wise move. This five-year-old should have more to offer and can easily get involved at the business end of proceedings here.

Don't forget, Ed will be back on Thursday with his best bets for the day.

Ted's Treble for Tuesday

Brighton - 3.00 Revolutionise (9/2 Betfred)

Brighton - 4.00 Banksman (11/10 Coral)

Newton Abbot - 6.57 Kill The Groove (13/2 Ladbrokes)

Ted's Treble - (147.5/1 Ladbrokes)
