LIBERTY LANE loves this venue, and his ability to produce the goods here should see him run a big race for the Karl Burke team who continue to be amongst the winners.

Last year's Cambridgeshire winner has every chance based on ratings of landing this Group 3 event, and goes on any ground, the yard must think they have a great opportunity of striking once more.
This looks like a race where you can make a case for pretty much all of the field but Liberty Lane looks the best for me at the prices in a race that is winnable for all the aforementioned reasons.
Damysus is likely to start favourite, but he blows hot and cold, and I think Liberty Lane is the more solid option.
Chepstow - 2.10 Ben Solo - 7/2 Coral

I am going to take a chance here with the Rebecca Curtis trained BEN SOLO who heads over fences for the first time in this Novices Limited Handicap Chase over 2m.
The six-year-old ended last season on a bit of a whimper when finishing down the field at Fairyhouse, but had shown plenty of ability before that, including his sole career win which came over Course and Distance.

He also ran another really good race over this track and trip during the last campaign when runner-up to an Evan Williams hotpot, so Ben Solo clearly enjoys the idiosyncrasies of the Welsh venue.
His jumping over hurdles could be sticky at times, and his trainer has suggested that he looks just the type to treat larger obstacles with a lot more respect.
Curtis showed last season that she could get him fired up first-time out, so fresh may well be the best time to catch him, and a return to this venue is an obvious positive.

You can make a case for quite a few in here, and Handicap debutants Royal Infantry and French Ship make the shortlist, although I would want to see ground much softer than it is currently in order for them to bring their best form to the table.
With the ground forecast to be Good, they are reluctantly passed aside in favour of the Olly Murphy trained RAMBO T who looks an each-way player in this assignment.
Off a mark of 137 he may not be obviously well Handicapped, and at times his jumping can go a bit amiss, but he has a lot in his favour.
He bolted up by 17 lengths on his only previous start over Course and Distance, and is versatile in regards to underfoot conditions so that holds him in good stead.
The Olly Murphy team are in red-hot form and Sean Bowen continues to ride out of skin. Rambo T has a very healthy strike-rate over Hurdles and shouldn't be dismissed as an each-way player here.

Chepstow - 2.10 Ben Solo
Chepstow - 3.20 Rambo T e/w (9/1, William Hill)
