Alexander Isak next club odds: Liverpool and Arsenal lead race for striker
Following a standout season for Newcastle United, Alexander Isak has become one of the most in-demand forwards in world football.
With his 23 Premier League goals helping the Toon back into the Champions League, many of the elite clubs are circling around the Swedish striker.

But will Isak stay in the English top-flight, or does he fancy his chances elsewhere?
It is Liverpool who lead the way at 9/4, as the Reds look to bolster their forward line.
There has been plenty of players linked with the Premier League champions, who are likely to offload Darwin Nunez and potentially Luis Diaz, opening up a gap at the top of the pitch for Arne Slot.
However, the potential arrival of Florian Wirtz may scupper Liverpool’s plans to add Isak, with plenty of money being spent on the German midfielder.
Arsenal find themselves in a familiar second place (8/1), and it is no secret that Mikel Arteta’s side is desperate for a new striker to help push them over the line.
Isak would undoubtedly be a great addition for the Gunners, whose lack of goals killed any chance they had to win the league last season.
Newcastle will not want to sell to a league rival, but Arsenal’s desire for a world-class number nine could see them pay over the odds for Isak.
Robert Lewandowski is not getting any younger, and Barcelona (10/1) will be looking to replace him at some point.
Finances will most likely be the main issue for the Spanish side, but fresh from a La Liga title win, it is certainly an attractive option for Isak.
A front three of Raphinha, Lamine Yamal and Isak would instantly become one of the most dangerous in Europe, and a move away from England would be the best option for Newcastle, if they opt to sell.
Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich (16/1) offer an outside option, with Vincent Kompany looking to prove himself as a top class manager.
It does seem unlikely that they will make the move considering Harry Kane and Serge Gnabry’s great partnership, although a player like Isak does not come available often.
Whenever a world-class player comes onto the market, Real Madrid (20/1) are never far away, especially with Xabi Alonso looking to make a mark on his new team.
With Rodrygo set to move on, Isak may come into play as a potential replacement, but Alonso may not want to halt the development of Endrick, who could find his minutes reduced by the Swede’s arrival.
PSG (25/1) and Chelsea (33/1) are outsiders for an Isak move, but Liam Delap’s imminent arrival kills the latter’s chances, while PSG’s electric front three is already one of the best in the world, and therefore doesn’t need a big money arrival.
