Man Utd transfer odds: Where will Rashford, Antony, Sancho, and Garnacho end up?
This summer represents Ruben Amorim’s first real opportunity to forge the Manchester United squad in his image, having joined the club in November 2024. As well as incomings, the reshaping will mean moving a lot of players on.
Amorim plays a flexible 3-4-3 system that demands high pressing and high possession. It’s a system that a lot of the United squad are unaccustomed to – a fact that helped cause the team’s worst Premier League finish ever.

The rebuild is already under way. United have brought in Mattheus Cunha from Wolves in a £62.5million move during the mini-transfer window earlier this month and they seem to be one step away from finalising a deal for Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo. With the two signings potentially costing as much as £120m, Amorim will likely have to make sales to help fund further acquisitions.
The need for high-pressing players and funds has led the club to put a series of players in the shop window. And, according to one club insider, United are especially keen on getting rid of four “bad apples” in Marcus Rashford, Antony, Jadon Sancho, and Alejandro Garnacho.
After a deeply underwhelming two seasons at Old Trafford, Antony headed to Real Betis on loan in January last year. During his loan spell, the Brazilian chipped in with nine goals and five assists. As a result, it is looking increasingly likely that Betis will secure his long-term signature with a deal that includes a large sell-on percentage.
Rashford spent the latter part of last season on loan at Aston Villa, where he showed some return to his previous best. In the past few weeks, he has attempted to fashion a move to Barcelona but, while the Catalan giants remain the favourites to get his signature, reports suggest they are more likely to sign Nico Williams from Athletic Club.
Newcastle are emerging as strong candidates for the England striker’s signature following the news that Liverpool are preparing a big bid for Alexander Isak.

Jadon Sancho was frozen out of the club by Erik Ten Hag and went to Chelsea, on loan, in January 2024. It has been obvious for some time he has no future with the Red Devils, but it has proven difficult to find a buyer.
Chelsea opted to pay a £5m fine, rather than buy him at the end of his loan spell. According to bookmakers, he is now most likely to join former United team-mate Scott McTominay at Napoli.

Of the handful of players named, Garnacho is the one that will upset most fans. The youngster has been viewed as the future of United and hailed as one of their best players over the past couple of seasons.
But, because the winger is homegrown, it means all the money from his sale would be considered profit for financial fair play calculations. The Manchester club wants a fee of £60m or more for the winger. According to bookmakers, it looks like a battle between Chelsea and Napoli for his signature.
Odds, from Ladbrokes, are correct at the time of the writing:

Chelsea | 7/4 |
Napoli | 2/1 |
