F1 Constructors' Championship without McLaren odds

After 10 races, McLaren have stormed ahead to a 175-point lead over their closest rival, Mercedes.

The Woking-based team are set to clinch the Formula 1 Constructors’ Championship for a successive season - with last year’s achievement their first since 1998.

McLaren’s dominance has forced bookmakers to provide an all-new market for bettors to take advantage of, titled ‘F1 Constructors’ Championship winner without McLaren’.

Essentially, this market takes Zak Brown’s outfit out of the equation - allowing you to bet on which team will end the season with the second-highest points accumulation. See the most lucrative odds, here.

Mercedes strong favourites – 1/1 (bet365)

Led by George Russell and Kimi Antonelli, Mercedes have amassed 199 points and sit second on the Constructors’ Championship leaderboard.

Russell’s campaign has gone under the radar somewhat - having snagged five podiums, including one race win. The 27-year-old now sits fourth-favourite to win the Drivers’ Championship (50/1, bet365), though his chances are tremendously slim.

Antonelli has also impressed, with his debut podium finish celebrated at the Canadian Grand Prix. He was unable to enjoy the moment with too much gusto, though, as the Italian youngster took his final school exams just a few days later.

You can back Mercedes to win the ‘F1 Constructors’ Championship without McLaren’ at 1/1 with bet365 and William Hill.

Ferrari closing in – 11/8 (Paddy Power)

Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc have earned 79 and 104 points respectively, bringing Ferrari’s total for the season so far to 183.

It has been the Monegasque driver at the forefront of the team’s successes, racking up three podiums in 10 Grand Prix outings.

On the other hand, England’s Hamilton is yet to flourish. One sprint race victory instilled some hope that consistent performances would soon arrive, but the 40-year-old has not finished higher than fourth in a Grand Prix proper.

According to Ladbrokes, neither driver is in the running for the Drivers’ Championship— as Leclerc (150/1) and Hamilton (500/1) sit well behind their counterparts.

Nevertheless, ‘The Prancing Horse’ stand at 11/8 to attain second-place with bet365 and William Hill

Red Bull reliant on Verstappen – 4/1 (Sky Bet)

Liam Lawson was replaced by Yuki Tsunoda after just two grand prix weekends, but the Japanese driver has not met Red Bull’s infamously high standards just yet, with 10 points on the board.

Max Verstappen remains the team’s lead driver and for good reason; the Dutchman is on course to compete for a fifth consecutive Drivers’ Championship title.

But if Red Bull are to vie for second spot at the season’s end, Verstappen will need help from teammates. The gap to Mercedes remains surmountable, however, as 37 points separate the fierce rivals.

Sky Bet have Red Bull at 4/1 to come second behind McLaren, while Betfred offer the same outcome for the six-time constructors’ champions at a generous 9/2.
