Marcus Rashford next club odds: Where will the Manchester United striker be playing next season?

Marcus Rashford’s season is all but over and it now needs to be decided where he’ll be playing his football next season.

It looks highly likely that he won’t be playing for his current club, Manchester United. The Manchester-born striker joined the Red Devils aged 8 and burst on the scene 10 years ago.

However, a break down in his relationship with current manager Ruben Amorim forced him out on loan to Aston Villa in January, where he has since rediscovered his form scoring four and assisting seven goals in his 17 games for Unai Emery’s side. He even earned a recall to the England squad back in March.

Those performances prove the striker has still got it and now we wait and see what shirt he’ll be wearing next season, with a £40 million price tag looking good value for the 27-year-old.

According to FIRST.com’s partners Ladbrokes and, at the time of writing, Barcelona lead the race for Rashford with him evens to sign for the newly-crowned La Liga champions.

Rashford will want to be playing Champions League football next season and Barcelona are a team that will not only be competing in it, but looking to win it!

Hansi Flick’s side look to be on an upward curve having won the domestic double this season and reached the final four of Europe’s premier club competition.

Potential team-mates include 17-year-old sensation Lamine Yamal, former Leeds United winger Raphinha and Polish goal-machine Robert Lewandowski which might excite Rashford to take up a new opportunity in Spain.

If he’d rather stay in England, then Aston Villa are second favourites at 5/1. He’s enjoyed the past few months in the Midlands and no doubt Emery has enjoyed having Rashford strengthen his squad.

A lot might be decided in the next two matches on whether Rashford goes to Villa. Should they finish in the top 5 and qualify for the Champions League then the club can both afford and be better placed to persuade him. If they miss out, it might be difficult to get Rashford to come back to Birmingham.

Other clubs in the running include Arsenal, who are 10/1 to buy Rashford. Mikel Arteta is in the market for attacking players and might feel he can get the best out of the striker.

Further down the list include foreign ventures. PSG are priced at 12/1 whilst he’s 14/1 to join Kyle Walker at AC Milan. You can even get 16/1 on him to follow the money and sign for a club in the Saudi Arabia league. Whichever way you look at it, there’s good value in the market for where Rashford will be going this summer.
