The Premier League title might be wrapped up – with Liverpool crowned champions – but there remains plenty to play for across the rest of the division.

Top five contenders
Impressive coefficient scores attained by Premier League clubs competing in European tournaments have opened the door to a fifth Champions League qualification spot – as the division’s top five clubs shall enter UEFA’s elite competition in 2025/26.
Now that Arsenal have secured second place, it’s up to Newcastle (1/7), Chelsea (4/7), Aston Villa (10/11), Manchester City (1/8) and Nottingham Forest (7/2) to clamour for the three remaining slots. Sky Bet’s odds demonstrate that the popular UK bookmaker holds Pep Guardiola’s side as favourite to earn a spot in Europe’s most illustrious annual contest.
While Man City head to Fulham and Newcastle welcome Everton, the City Ground will host a pivotal clash between Forest and Chelsea on Sunday afternoon. For Villa, Old Trafford awaits.
Europa League and Conference League football serve as consolation prizes for the sides who conclude the campaign in sixth and seventh.
Fight for 10th
Two points separate eighth and 11th ahead of the final slate of midweek Premier League fixtures – with Bournemouth pinned at 1/12 by Ladbrokes to achieve a top-half finish for the first time since 2016/17.
Fulham (2/1), Brentford (1/16) and Brighton (1/16) are all in the mix, followed by FA Cup winners, Crystal Palace (33/1). Despite being unbeaten in six outings, Oliver Glasner’s Eagles will require plenty of good fortune to leapfrog those above. In addition to a late-night clash with Wolves, they journey to Anfield on the day that Liverpool lift the title.
Bournemouth welcome already-relegated Leicester to round out their year. As for the other candidates, Brentford visit Wolves, Brighton take on Spurs and Fulham face Man City.
Finalist failures
Manchester United and Tottenham have endured disastrous domestic campaigns. The Europa League final has stood in the cross-hairs of both clubs since it became apparent that there was virtually nothing salvageable from the league.
With one game remaining and league prize money the only saving grace, United (16th) sit one point clear of Spurs (17th) and within touching distance of West Ham (15th).
At 11/5 to beat Brighton on the last day of the 2024/25 season, BetMGM view Ange Postecoglou’s men as significant underdogs. United are also expected to lose, as the bookmaker has the Red Devils at 3/1 to overcome the challenge of Aston Villa.
