Arne Slot’s side had the perfect opportunity to bounce back from these defeats when they faced Manchester United on Sunday but fell to yet another 2-1 loss. They’re now four without a win and the teams look bereft of ideas.

The four-time Golden Boot winner is without a goal for Liverpool since mid-September. He has just two open-play goals all season and he missed a big chance against Manchester United. 

There have even been calls for him to be dropped from the team but Eintracht Frankfurt, a team giving up chances galore, are the perfect opposition for him to find his groove again.
