Our first ‘Spain vs north London’ tie of the week pits together two clubs who met in a friendly last month. Arsenal ran out 3-0 winners against Athletic Club but does that have any relevance here?

Juventus vs Borussia Dortmund betting tips
If you were pricing this match up on the Champions League data from last season, Dortmund would be almost evens to win.
While that might be a stretch, a positive result feels possible for the visitors. They had the easier match on Saturday too, cruising past 10-man Heidenheim while Juventus led, trailed and then scored a 91st minute winner against Inter in the Derby d'Italia.

Tottenham vs Villarreal betting tips
The Europa League champions host a side that didn’t have European football last term. With a fifth place La Liga finish, Villarreal had the vastly superior league campaign though.
They also had the second-best away record in Spain, amassing more points than Real Madrid. With Tottenham poor in their previous home game, Villarreal could emerge unscathed from their trip to London.

Slavia Prague vs Bodo/Glimt betting tips
The prices suggest Slavia Prague should win easily. This seems odd given how both teams performed in the Europa League last season.
The Czech side won just one of their eight matches in the group stage while Bodø/Glimt went all the way to the semi-finals.

Bayern Munich vs Chelsea betting tips
The tie of matchweek one pits perennial Bundesliga title-winners Bayern Munich against world champions Chelsea.
When they last met five years ago, the German side won 7-1 on aggregate. Enzo Maresca’s Blues won’t be open enough to let that sort of score line happen again.

This could be a belter. Club Brugge beat Salzburg 3-2 and Rangers 6-0 at home in the qualification rounds. They look to have the firepower to beat a Monaco side that lost 1-0 at Lille in their first away match in Ligue 1.

Manchester City vs Napoli betting tips
Pep Guardiola has a negative record against Antonio Conte, with three wins and four defeats from their seven meetings.
Manchester City aren’t in flawless form either, with three defeats in their last five matches in all competitions. However, Napoli weren’t especially strong on the road last season, even though they won Serie A, and the Cityzens will be buoyed by their derby win on Sunday.
